Deciding where to go and what to skip in a city as golden, big and shiny as Sydney is a challenge for any mere mortal, but not for an insider. From cocktail bars to scrumptious eateries and historic neighborhoods to energetic markets the day’s sights are yours to command!…
You’ll join one of our Sydney hosts, who can’t wait to share their city with you. Deciding where to go and what to skip in a city as golden, big and shiny as Sydney is a challenge for any mere mortal, but not for an insider. From cocktail bars to scrumptious eateries and historic neighborhoods to energetic markets the day’s sights are yours to command! Your host will have a few suggestions of their own, but the gist of this experience is to blend city highlights with local insights and come up with a Sydney cocktail that’s authentic and fun!
Within 24 hours after booking you’ll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you’ll be assigned a like-minded host. Your host will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible, so during the
experience, you can always change your mind about what you want to do.

We were very kindly greeted with a gift and my son loved his tote bag.
We saw SO many sights today!! Our walking tour was about 8 hours and we toured Hyde Park, St Mary’s Cathedral, gorgeous fountains and memorials, Darling Harbour, Barangaroo, the Sydney Opera House, the Rocks, the Custom House, the Queen Victoria Building, Manly Beach, etc. plus stopped along the way for shopping.
Great views of the gorgeous landscape, the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House.
In addition to walking, we took the Metro and the Lightrail and ferries.
We stopped at a delightful coffeehouse in the morning and had a terrific lunch at a food hall midday. Plenty of rest stops for our party of 3. Highly recommend Peter and his walking tour of Sydney.
Don’t forget your hat and sunscreen…

Great tour to do on your first day in Sydney - Peter gave a fantastic customized tour. We used the ferry and tram to move around which helped us feel as confident as locals. He also gave us tips on places to see and eating recommendations. We had a great time!

Sydney tour - Anita was knowledgeable and very flexible in meeting my specific interests.
She showed me many highlights in Sydney and also took me to a local waterfront restaurant in Watsons Bay. We went at my pace and I felt like I was with a friend showing me her city.

Great way to see the city! - I really enjoyed the private tour. Peter was thoughtful about the itinerary. He showed me a nice blend of iconic and local sights/activities. He was very knowledgeable about the history and way of life. Highly recommend!

Great tour of Sydney - We learned some very interesting things about Sydney. The pace was nice and we all had a very enjoyable tour. There were 4 of us in our group.
My favorite spot was the bird cage art with chirping birds in the background.

Far exceeded our (high) expectations! - Ania was fantastic! We scheduled a 3 hour walking tour of Sydney with her. She asked us to complete a questionnaire that outlines our interests and what we would like to see while visiting the city. We completed the questionnaire and she planned our tour based on that information.
Ania showed up at our hotel on time and fully prepared. She gave us an overview of the city on a map and outlined what she had planned for us. She asked us if we had any limitations with regard to walking, told us what the terrain would be like, and gave us an estimate of how far we'd walk. We asked her to make a couple of changes to the itinerary, which she readily and ably did.
It didn't take us long to conclude that Ania was the right person and that she NAILED exactly what we wanted to see while in Sydney. Not only were the sites interesting, but she explained the history behind the sites. She explained history in a way I've never had history explained to me before. As she talked, we felt like we had personally experienced the historical events and were led to the place in which we were standing. It was a fantastic tour!
If you are able to get on her schedule, we highly, highly recommend her with no hesitation.

Highly recommend Matty for any tour - Matty was so great communicating with us prior to our arrival to find out what we wanted to see. He customized the tour to our preferences perfectly. His historical knowledge of Sydney was fantastic and you can see he really enjoys history and his job. No hesitations to recommend anyone to utilize his services for whatever kind of Sydney experience you desire
