Nice ride - Due mostly to the miscommunication with our traveling partners, we had a minor issue of not being listed on the same tour. But the the tour representatives were very helpful and accommodating. We ended up sharing a car with a driver for the tour. The driver was helpful, informative and very nice. It was interesting to see variations in the landscape as we traveled. The early part of the trip was viewing low rolling forested hills. When the terrain became more mountainous there were some very pretty views. We made a rest stop at a bakery/restaurant that had some very good pastries and cookies. As we traveled to the resort destination, the scenery was very nice. There were some very curvy steep roads to the resort. The drive around the resort area at the top of a mountain was interesting and had nice views. On our return we stopped at a restaurant for a good lunch. I would recommend this trip!

Don’t miss the mini tour of Cabot trail - Anajot was an awesome guide knowledge and accommodating. This is a great tour for cruisers. The guide was on time. Started with a must see Alexander Graham bell museum. Drove through town of Baddeck. Willing to stop to shop. Or stop for lunch. Drove onto the Gaelic College and the scenic Cabot Trail. Stopped as much as we wanted to take pics and admire the amazing scenery.

Amazing experience! - We had a great experience on the Cabot Trail 6 Hour Mini Tour! Our driver Nev was wonderful - friendly, informative, and focused on our requests/happiness/satisfaction. We learned so much from him and saw the most beautiful sights! We were truly blown away by the whole experience, and this for sure was the highlight of our Nova Scotia trip! Highly recommend the tour - especially with Nev; he is the best!

Save money by just going direct to the taxi service - Do not book through this company. If you want the exact same experience but for less money just get the taxi service at the cruise terminal. This company doesn’t answer the phone, return calls, or respond to emails. It’s just a front that charges an extra fee to book a taxi that you can hire directly. I had a poor experience dealing with this company while cruising on Princess. I paid CN$600 for a private tour that would have cost CN$400 if I just hired the same taxi when I disembarked from the ship. I had a number of questions about the tour prior to disembarking and sent two emails, left several phone messages and called the company ~10 times and no one ever answers the phone or responded to email or phone messages. The owner apparently lives in Scotland and has someone running the company for him. Don’t bother supporting this company and just hire the same taxi service when you arrive in Sydney.

Taxi Ride Not Tour - This wasn’t a tour, it was a taxi ride. Very disappointed and uncomfortable. The vehicle was too small for our group of four. Will not use Viator again. There are better options with locals. Disappointed, it was first trip to Canada.

Skip this tour company - I don’t find pleasure in posting bad reviews but I feel the need to do so. We traveled with 2 other couples in a van and Harmeet was the driver. To start, the van could have been cleaner. The passengers in the back were quite uncomfortable. My husband and I were under the impression that the driver would be informative and take us to interesting sites on the island. Unfortunately that was not the case. He hardly spoke. First stop was at a mediocre bakery with a long line for the bathroom. We then pulled off the side of road for some scenic views. Honestly, Maine has a prettier coastline. Then we drove to a Gaelic college…why.? Next, we went to an abandoned resort. Feeling unsatisfied, I asked Harmeet where to rest of the tour would take us and he said maybe a restaurant for lunch. I told him I would prefer to see more of the island but he said there wasn’t much time left. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.

A miserable experience. - Having six passengers crammed into a Chrysler minivan for 6 hours is not my idea of a nice touring experience. Three of our party were in the third row and they could barely move. This was not a real tour company but rather a taxi. The driver shared little information and never told us when we would stop to eat. Some very nice vistas but that's all it really accomplished. Viator needs to be more accurate in its description and book with a real touring company not a taxi company. This was an absolute waste of my money.

Only BAD - I booked this tour 4 months out, had little communication with the actual tour company, including final pick up details. I reached out to them multiple times, with NO success. On the day of the tour they were a no show, the tour didn't happen. Extremely disappointed. Viator moved to refund my trip payment.
