Great short boat trip around Ortigia Island. - Great trip. Very interesting information. Very pleasant and relaxing experience.

By land or by sea? - Great way to get a lay of the land by seeing it from the sea and then going into the town and seeing the sights . We did the boat trip the day we arrived.

Ortiga boat trip - short and sweet - This 1 hour 10 minute boat trip was great. It was a small boat, which it needed to be to go under the old bridge and into the sea caves. We jumped off the boat for a dip in the sea on the way back, after sailing around the castle. The tour was provided by Dolce Excursions and we booked it through Sicilife. We has a bit of trouble finding the meeting point, but I recommend both providers.

Good value trip to see the island from the sea - For the price I think this was a good trip for the family. It’s an hour in duration and you are taken around the island of Ortigia by boat and into the local caves. Seeing the island by sea was beautiful and there was an opportunity to stop and have a swim - not for everyone but my son did jump in and was relieved to cool down in the harbour sea. The caves were good to look at too. Some local history was given to us on the boat so if you want a short trip around the island it works.

Ortigia by boat - Getting to see Ortigia from the water added to our perspective. Wish the one hour boat trip was two hours! Very enjoyable

Great tour, inaccurate meeting point lead us to miss our time slot - The people of Ortigia were very kind and accommodating! After our boat left without us due to receiving inaccurate meeting point details (we arrived early at the meeting point and waited, but apparently we were supposed to go to a different location and the boat left without us) a local man arranged for us to get on a different tour.

Ortigia by boat - The tour was lovely and fun but it cost us twice as much as it cost to just walk up to the tour. There were lots of options & booking through trip advisor was a big rip off
