Join this immersive journey into Sicilian cuisine and culture. The meeting point is at the Ortigia market, near the port where cruise ships dock, at 8:30/8:45 AM. Enjoy a delightful stroll through the market street, exploring local foods and learning about traditional cooking methods. This experience features tastings of local delicacies, insights into fresh and preserved foods, food shopping, and explanations of homemade Sicilian recipes. Participants will receive a family cookbook as a gift. The recipes are straightforward and easy to follow, perfect for those who love cooking.

The tour lasts for an hour and a half, beginning at 8:30 AM. An optional cooking class can be added for an extra fee. Please note, the market is closed on Sundays.

We will explore all the market products, and you will prepare an aperitif featuring cheeses and local specialties, creating a Sicilian breakfast. This experience takes place in the early morning, giving you the entire day to explore the city. You also have the option to join a traditional cooking class with Teresa.
