You’ll be introduced to our guide who will enlighten you about the city’s origins before welcoming you to the Neapolis archaeological park.

Next, you’ll explore the Latomie, the ancient stone quarries that had provided materials for city construction for generations.

You will then encounter the mythical Ear of Dionysius, noted for its unique shape and distinctive acoustics. You’ll get to know the tale of the ruler Dionysius and the myth surrounding this cavern. Your tour will proceed with a glance at the Grotta dei Cordari, before approaching the Greek Theater.

From the top terrace, you’ll take in the beautiful Nymphaeum Fountain and the breathtaking vista that stretches over the extensive dock. Departing the Theater, you’ll transition to the Altar of Hieron II, which is the largest stone altar in existence from the Greek era.

The final landmark on your tour in Neapolis will be the Roman Amphitheater. Here, you can appreciate the construction style of the Roman era, the built characteristics and the unique aspects of the gladiatorial matches.
