Additional Information
Ortygia is the historical and religious heart of Syracuse. It’s a small island connected to the mainland by a couple of bridges. Whenever possible, I like to offer tastings of typical Sicilian food, such as Modica’s chocolate, cheeses, and charcuterie, at the Local Market or shops in Ortygia. It’s also possible to have lunch together at a restaurant or at the market, enjoying Sicilian cheeses, cold cuts, sun-dried tomatoes, and other traditional foods.

Great - Enrica spent 2 hours with us by bike. We went through Ortigia to visit the hotspots of this corner if paradise. She’s so passionate and above all a real archeologists. We’ve learned a lot.

Beautiful tour! - We booked Enrica for a Tour of Ortygia + lunch in the market for 4 persons: 3 adults and 1 child. She did a wonderful job of pacing our tour. The tour was informative and also gave us some familiarity of the area. She brought us to the most important landmarks in the town and also pointed out places we might want to return to on our own. Her enthusiasm and passion for the history of Ortygia came through beautifully. She was able to keep the tour interesting and informative for all of us. The lunch she brought us to was quite memorable. We enjoyed our time with Enrica and would recommend her to anyone who would like a fun, educational tour of a Ortygia!
