Amazing tour with Ehab! - After Hurghada, we had concerns about our trip to Cairo. Both about security and where we would be able to see during the three days. We bought a pyramids tour on the first day, an Egyptian museum and Coptic Cairo tour on the second day, and an Islamic Cairo tour on the third day from Emo Tour. It was flawless in one word. Our tour guide Ehab! We can't thank you enough. Ehab was such a cheerful, knowledgeable, polite, understanding guide that he was the most important factor that made our Cairo vacation unforgettable. Ehab arranged the tour time very well, we visited everywhere to our heart's content. He gave very satisfying information about each place and answered our questions very well. He even waited patiently for us to shop while we were walking in the bazaar (which he didn't have to wait for). He protected us from people who were bothering us or trying to sell us something. His English was fluent. The places they took us to eat were top notch. The car we used for the tour was very new, clean, and the air conditioning worked flawlessly. Both of our drivers were very good, we had a safe journey, and Desouky entertained us a lot by playing Egyptian music. A tour you should take without hesitation!

Wow, what a trip we had! - I just got back from a 4 night 4 days trip in Egypt, Cairo. I led a group form the UK to go Umrah stopping on the way back in Cairo, what an amazing few days! We were met and greeted at the airport, luggage dealt with without any going missing, checked in smoothly and started the next day our program, it was intense, we went to the Pyramids, our guide – I found a friend in him- Syyed Mahmoud was the icing of the cake, professional and silver tong! He briefed us proper and went though do/don’t list which the group found really beneficial and made us face less inconvenience and utilized the time to the best, practical recommendation, where to go and what to expect as the local sales people can be demanding and a bit of a challenge. Sayyed was well informed and spoke fluent English, he was well connected every where we went, recommended places to visit and when according to traffic and that allowed us to maximize our time there, we were never rushed when we visited places, even on our free day Sayyed went the extra mile and kept our company! always smiling and engaged the group very well. I learned a lot, laughed a lot indeed eat a lot ! I also love the fact we were with one guide throughout the entire period apart from one area outside Cairo we had another professional guide – Noor El Dein Mohamed- yet another amazing guide with 5 languages. EMO is a professional service provider, having had 18 years hospitality experience and 7 in travel industry, I have no problem recommending EMO with confidence. Thank Sayyed Mahmoud, the trip wouldn’t have been the same without you.

The best - We had an amazing day on Old Cairo! From the Cave Church, St George and all the other holy sites. We even took a tour to garbage city. Our guide Sayed Mahmoud was spectacular! He really knows the area and we learned so much on this tour. The resturant he took us to was seriously the best food all week. Thank you Emo Tours! Ww had an unforgettable day!

An enlightening and enjoyable experience - The beautiful Islamic architecture was breathtaking. If you have a passion for Islamic art and architecture this tour is a must. The intricate patterned decor and high rised domes were mesmerising. Our guide Asma had a wealth of knowledge, she gave us an excellent historical journey.

I would do it again and again - Hebe was a great tour guide and a beautiful person inside and out. It was a Friday which is prayers day - I didn’t know that - so there were thousands of people mostly children. It was a very authentic experience that I very much enjoyed but if crowds make you uncomfortable, choose another day of the week. Otherwise it’s a must do, especially if you’re unfamiliar with the Islamic culture.

A fascinating day exploring - Our tour guide was Deena. We did the Islamic tour of Cairo, visiting the Citadel and several mosques in the area. She was very passionate about Egyptian history and was very knowledgeable about the sites we saw. We learned a lot of new things from this tour. Our guide was also very accommodating to our schedule. We had a lot of fun.

Would definitely go again - This was a memorable trip. We traveled and toured Al-Rifa'i Mosque, Mosque-Madrasa of Sultan Hassan, Mosque of Muhammad Ali as well. Unfortunately our toddler and baby were passed out when we reached Amr ibn Al-A'as Mosque. So we didn’t get a chance to tour it. We took some great photos and history nonetheless. Our guide Marwa was very helpful with the kids while giving us a great tour.

Okay tour of mosques in Cairo - We saw all the amazing sites in Islamic Cairo, but did not have a very good experience with the tour guide. His English was quite poor and so he didn't do a good job of explaining what we were seeing and their history. When I asked him questions, he often responded with "I don't know". I ended up reading the Lonely Planet guide at each stop rather than listening to him. I wish he had given us more time to properly see everything, rather than rushing us, especially at Khan el Khalili. I would have also preferred he let us eat lunch privately as a family. Overall, this tour is good to transport you from site-to-site with an Arabic-speaker, but don't expect to learn new things about the sites you are seeing.
