Rooted in the Tri Hita Karana teachings of Hinduism, the Subak system reflects the harmony between humans, nature, and spirituality. Established in the 11th century, Subak is not just an irrigation system but a philosophy of life emphasizing balance and sustainability. The village is surrounded by a 24-hectare protected forest.
  • Tanah Lot Temple - Tanah Lot Temple, a sacred Hindu worship site in Bali, is perched on a reef off the coast of Beraban Village, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency. The temple’s history is intertwined with the legend of a 16th-century Javanese Brahmin named Danghyang Nirartha, also known as Danghyang Dwijendra or Pedanda Sakti Wau Rauh. Nirartha’s influence led many Balinese to embrace Hinduism, causing jealousy in Bendesa Beraban, the local ruler. Bendesa forced Nirartha to leave Tanah Lot, but before departing, Nirartha used his supernatural powers to move a large rock to the beach’s center and built a temple on it. He also transformed his shawl into a snake to guard the temple. Eventually, Bendesa became a follower of Nirartha.
  • Leke Leke Waterfall - Located in Banjar Kerobokan, Mekarsari Village, Baturiti District, Tabanan Regency, Bali, Leke-Leke Waterfall is accessible via the Denpasar-Singaraja route. After parking, visitors must walk along a footpath and pay an entrance fee of IDR 25,000 per person, guided by local residents.
  • Luhur Batukaru Temple - Pura Luhur Batukaru, located in Wongaya Gede Village, Penebel District, Tabanan Regency, is a temple dedicated to worshiping God as Mahadewa, the deity responsible for plant growth through proper water use. The amazing driver that topped our life changing trip! - Our driver Putu gave us a one helluvah last day experience. He was able to customise our trip based from what we missed out the day prior. He was very patient and great driver, as he took care of us throughout the trip. He brought us to the best beaches and gave us a preview of what to expect. I'm very impressed with his attitude and I'll definitely look for him next time when I go back to Bali soon!
