Fall in love with the varied and unique beauty of Morocco’s valleys, mountains, countryside, and desert on this full-day guided excursion from Marrakech. After pickup at around 9:00 AM, head to the Atlas Mountains, passing through a small village where you can visit a traditional Berber Weekley souk (market in Saturday or Tuesday)
- Moulay Brahim - then to Moulay Brahim valley where you will try the experience of camel Ride
- Imlil - Arrive in Imlil and take a trek by foot or by Mule to Armed, the highest and largest village in Imlil Valley. Your journey will take you past waterfalls and the hamlets of Ait Mizan, Targa, and Imoula. Stop off in Tamatert to take in views of ancient irrigated fields of barley, corn, and vegetables, surrounded by cherry and walnut trees. Your guide will point out interesting sites and tell you about Berber culture and heritage along the way.
- Tamatert - Come back down through the village of Ait Souka, where you’ll meet a Berber family and enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal as a guest in their home. Head next to Kik Plateau, at 1,800 meters altitude, offering spectacular 360-degree views, and in spring, a marvelous spread of alpine flowers.
- Plateau du Kik - Arrive at the edge of Lalla Takerkoust Lake, whose dam supplies Marrakesh with all its energy. Take a tea break and admire the views out over the lake
- Agafay - Finally, drive to Agafay Desert and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. Pass through stone desert, barren light brown plateaus, Bedouin villages, oases, and high hills with panoramic views to High Atlas. If the timing is right, enjoy views of the sunset from up high before returning to Marrakech.

Highly recommend! - Stop scrolling and book this excursion! Mustapha was wonderfully engaging and trip was unlike any other. The hike was terrific (and tbh I'm not exactly in athletic shape!) and the tea, the Berber Village and the dromedary ride was so much fun. Highly recommend!

Do NOT Pass This Tour Up!! - This tour is a wonderful value. It is so much fun and there are many stops along the way. Our tour guide, Ismail, was an AMAZING guide and taught us many things about life in the mountains as well as Morocco. You will enjoy each and every stop with them. We had tea in the morning. The camel ride was fun and we got to dress up in traditional Moroccan clothing. We hiked in the mountains and it was very nice. The hardest part was the final hike to dinner. I was sweating. We arrived for dinner/lunch and it was outstanding! A chicken tagine for me and a vegetarian one for my wife. There was also a vegetarian couscous available and I can't tell you how many servings I enjoyed because I lost count.
This trip is not to be missed. Our driver was outstanding as well. He made sure our valuables were safe and he got us to each destination professionally.
We highly recommend this tour. We only wish we would have done more while we were there.

Incredible experience!!! - The highlight of our trip to Morocco. Our driver Hisham and our guide Ismail were brilliant. The trip was so value for money. It starts off with trip to the desert and some Moroccan tea. Then we got dressed up and rode dromedaries. After that we saw argan oil making and had delicious Moroccan breakfast. Then we had the most amazing cous cous and tagine for lunch! The cous cous was to die for. Plenty of photo opportunities with the most incredible views in between our schedule. And lastly we hiked up to visit the waterfalls before heading back home. Safe to say we were WELL FED. Food was delicious and the views were so unreal. We saw and experienced so much lots in one day. Cannot recommend enough!! Thanks again to Hisham and Ismail

Memorable day trip from Marrakech - It was a best day out on our trip to Marrakesh. It has variety of experiences including Moroccan teas, camel ride in desert, trip to Eagan oil outlet, waterfall and best authentic lunch at a house among high mountains. Our guide Ismail was full of knowledge, and friendly. A perfect 5-star day trip one shall not miss.

Excellent tour! - Excellent tour! Ismael was a fantastic tour guide who passionately shared aspects of Berber history, cultural, and language with the group. The lunch was also authentic, filling, and delicious. I highly recommend this tour!!

Nice tour, value for money - We could see a lot, especially the atlas mountains were very beautiful. Ismail is a very sweet guide and Hicham a good driver. What makes it even more beautiful is that we ate in a small village near Imlil with family of Ismail. We found this very special and sweet. Ismael even said that if we ever come back we are very welcome. Moroccan hospitality ❤️
Through this tour we want to go back to Morocco and hike in the atlas mountains. We fell in love with Morocco.

What a superb day in the Atlas mountains! - Yes!!! A whole day of exploring the mountains and valleys of this beautiful region. More than worth the money spent, if you asked me...
Our guide did a great job of leading our little group, switching with ease between three languages (French, English and Arabic).
Exquisite lunch with tajine and couscous on a rooftop with a view of the snowy peaks was definitely a highlight.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TRIP!

Atlas Mountains Camel Ride Marrakesh - My daughter Dee and I did a trip with Marrakesh Outdoor Trips.Our driver Omar,caring and careful driver. Our tour guide Fawzia made it a magical and a trip never to forget.Was scared to do the Atlas Camel ride but Fawzia assured me that it will be so worthwhile and be with me.At 70 years old I ticked another on my bucket list.Thank you.
