Great time, with quality instructors - We had a great time. We booked an early morning lesson at 8:00 AM. As we headed to the lake, there was still an early morning chill so we weren’t sure we really wanted to be on the water, but we are so glad we did. First, it warmed up quickly. And second, standup paddle boarding is a lot more strenuous than we had guessed it would be. So we were warm the entire time. It also didn’t hurt that the instructors were great, so we never actually ended up in the water (which no doubt would have been cold). They had us paddle boarding like pros in just minutes. Note: we reserved our lesson via TripAdvisor and the email we got listed the meeting point as their office at 521 N Lake Blvd. We nearly missed our lesson waiting there until the instructors called us to let us know to come down to Commons Beach. Please note that this is the correct meeting place, down on the beach.
