Upon arrival at the beach, participants will sign a waiver, select a kayak, receive a brief paddling tutorial, and then embark on their paddling adventure!

The three-hour kayak rental begins at a local facility situated near the mouth of the Truckee River, the sole outlet of Lake Tahoe. Participants can choose to paddle in any direction they prefer.

Lake Tahoe spans 12 miles in width and extends for many miles in length. While it may be tempting to venture further, it is advisable to remain near the shore and avoid crossing paths with motorboats and jet skiers navigating the area.

Enjoy the majesty of Lake Tahoe while kayaking in one of our tandem (2-person) kayaks.

Your tandem (double) kayak will keep you afloat among the gentle waves and light wind that cross the lake in the early morning and afternoon as you float by the granite boulders and massive sugar pines that ring the lake.

The time will pass quickly as you work your muscles and push yourself throughout the three hours until you return to the river to disembark for your next adventure - unless you decide to upgrade to a full day rental!
