Mombasa to Tsavo East

Mudanda Rock - At 8:00 am, the driver will pick you up from your hotel or the airport in Mombasa. Depart for Tsavo East, arriving at the lodge in time for lunch. An afternoon game drive will follow.

Full Game Drive in Tsavo East

Lugard’s Falls - Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the lodge, then set off for a game drive. As you travel along the red earth tracks, keep an eye out for signs of African wildlife. The more you observe, the more you will see. Relish the excitement of spotting wildlife, witnessing animals living in close proximity to each other. Look out for giraffes, well-camouflaged as they nibble on treetops, lions resting under shady trees after a hunt, and gazelles and cheetahs crossing the road. The Chyulu Hills, a volcanic mountain range, add to the scenic beauty. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the park.

Tsavo East to Tsavo West

Mzima Springs - At 6:00 am, check out early and proceed to Tsavo West National Park. A stop-over at Mzima Springs, the source of most of Mombasa’s fresh water, allows for a walk down to an underwater observation chamber where hippos or crocodiles can be seen swimming in the crystal-clear spring. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the park.

Full Day Game Drive in Taita Conservancy

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary - Morning: After breakfast at the lodge, depart for a game drive in the Taita Hills Conservancy. Lunch will be at the Taita Hills Resort. Return to Salt Lick for a short rest, followed by an evening sunset game drive from 4 to 6 pm. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Tsavo West Back to Mombasa

Mzima Springs - After breakfast, enjoy a short morning game drive in Taita before departing for Mombasa.
