Great tour - We had a wonderful time on our food tour guided by Sandra. She was an excellent host who helped us to try some things we might otherwise have missed. She was great with our kids and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her if you are looking for a guide.

Top marks 🥢🍺🍙🍣🍤🍱🇯🇵❤️ - All four of us want to give Wesley a whole hearted 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 review after today’s Tokyo food tour! He took us around the Houzouman temple and environs for sweet and savoury snacks and a delicious lunch and hoppi at [can’t remember the name of the restaurant]. A Californian by birth but an enthusiastic almost-permanent resident of Japan, Wesley was truly delightful, generously sharing his insider knowledge of the city with our group. Arigatou gozaimasu from the Petersen family! 🍺🍙🍤🍣🥢 ps. waiting for the group photos he took or I’d attach those here too!

History and new foods - a complete experience! - Alejandra took my daughter and I on this walking tour our 2nd day in Tokyo, felt like we were getting to know Asakusa, plus info re other areas of Tokyo with a good friend. The walk was not too long for us, full of history, religion and knowledge of Japan, the Shrine in the evening was super special, the food was yummy comfort food, drinks overflowing (if you want), loved the new snacks we tried (and bought to take home) - just a fun, relaxing, easy night to begin our Japan adventure. The photos of the 2 of us were special too! Thanks Alejandra and Arigato Tours! (PS we paid $120usd each, not 230+ ea).

Family tour in Asakusa (kids 9-13) - The asakusa tour was a highlight of our trip and something we would recommend people do if in Tokyo. We did it on our first day in Tokyo as it helped us with how to approach dining and eating for the rest of our trip. The tour was a great combination of food and history. The visits to the shrine and temple were also invaluable for our understanding of how to approach these for all the rest we visited on the trip. We tried food we wouldn’t otherwise have known to try. The kids had fun and it was great seeing the unexpected tastes that were their favourite. Really recommend this if you can. Michie was our guide and she was lovely and knowledgeable throughout.

Tour guides matter. Not well planned. Underwhelming. - Not an enjoyable, well planned or family friendly experience. We felt uncomfortable many times. Two of our stops were unsuitable for kids - and really, just poor choices (boozy hole in the wall where the workers were drunk, and a smoking restaurant with food that made us sick).
