A nice solo tour visit - Asakusa trip review This is one of the best cultural tours that I ever joined! I say this because I have been to Asakusa numerous times before and I didn’t expect I will learn or feel something new. Tour guide: ★★★★★ Our guide Kayoko-san was top notch. She is very friendly, knowledgeable and her English is so good. I learnt a lot of history and interesting facts (without getting bored!). Her engagement / hospitality / attention to details are amazing, she makes sure everyone gets nice photos, answer to every questions passionately, and she even have paper towels prepared after we washed our hands. Rickshaw ride: ★★★★★ I joined alone and I got my own rickshaw. The puller was really nice, well-built and handsome. Honestly, before I kind of feel bad for the pullers and I could never bring myself to try, especially during the hot summer days. But! Once I tried, I can feel he’s really passionate in doing his job. Also I learnt some historical facts from him I enjoyed the little trip. A big thanks, respect to him and other pullers. Overall it was a very enjoyable and definitely a tour that I will recommend!

Fun introduction to Asakusa - Fun morning with Kay walking around Asakusa Temple and market area. Kay was very patient with all my questions. Having Kay explain the culture and point out points of interest made the exploring so much more fun. The Rickshaw ride was a fun experience. Just the right amount of time.

Pleasent rickshaw ride - The rickshaw ride was quite comfortable. I felt like a VIP old Japan. The driver, or might I say - puller, was a very nice young man. He didn't know much English but tried his best to explain to us the history about our surroundings, and took a nice picture of us with a view of Skytree. The tour guide was also very nice. She took us to Tsukiji Temple, and explained in much detail the culture behind it. This was a very worthwhile tour.

Rickshaw ride at Asakusa plus walking tour! - I've been to Asakusa before but having a tour guide on my second visit was worth it. Having someone explain the history, culture and taking us to locations probably unknown to tourists made it more interesting. The best part of all was the rickshaw ride. It's an experience every tourist should try. I'd like try it again during spring season.

What a fun little adventure! - I’ve been to Asakusa before, but this was my first time to take a guided tour of the area. Our guide Kay was very helpful and gave us little tidbits of information on the cultural meaning of items we found in the shops on our walk down the main shopping street towards Sensoji Temple. She also took us to the back streets, away from the crowds, where we got to see a different side of Asakusa and find out a lot about the history of the area. The rickshaw ride was a first for me! It was the perfect way to get a feel for the area while enjoying a nice breeze and slight reprieve from the heat! This tour would be great as an introduction for first time visitors to Japan, but I’d also recommend this tour to people who want to gain insight from locals about Japanese culture to make their travels more meaningful. Having the pre-arranged rickshaw ride also took any stress out of choosing a rickshaw provider on the day.

Rickshaw was fun! - The rickshaw ride was definitely the highlight for my friend and I for this tour! The tour around Asakusa afterwards was a little messy and could’ve been more organized, but it was a chill experience nonetheless.
