Somi is the best! - Somi was our tour guide and she was AMAZING! She was so knowledgeable, sweet, and spoke perfect English. Thank you Somi for a great tour around the Senso-ji Temple.

Fun experience! - I came here with my family to learn about the local history and we were super impressed! Our guide Somi knows her stuff and you can tell she loves sharing the history of Asakusa. It was fun to read our fortunes and see all the traditional shops!

Third wheel redemption - It was nice. I had to third wheel during the trip but Somi made the entire experience less awkward! I took notes for which bakeries I could take my future girlfriend to as well!

Senso-Ji presented by Somi - The tour gave an insight into Japanese religious traditions that helped me connect with the culture in a way I didn’t think of previously. Somi was a great guide that kept me engaged through humour, interesting information, and cultural contexts. Would definitely recommend this tour with Somi for those looking to gain a new perspective and hoping to engage with the culture during their Japan trip!

temple run (japan’s version) (just kidding, please don’t run) - this tour was very fun and informative. our tour guide somi clearly took the time to ensure all of us had a great time learning about religious traditions in japan and answered our questions to the best of her knowledge. the temple was beautiful as well!

Amazing Asakusa Adventure: 10/10! Beautiful tour and tour guide! - Somi was a great tour guide! She was very knowledgeable, listing facts while keeping the tour engaging and fun. I learned not only about the history of Asakusa, but the surrounding areas as well. She went into depth about the history of Buddhism in the area, further deepening my understanding of the religious history of temples and pagodas. She easily answered any questions that the guests had. We also had time for fun free activities, such as going to different food stalls and trying out the paper fortunes !

A memorable tour through an iconic Tokyo site - Somi was an amazing tour guide! She is friendly and very knowledgeable --She answered every question we had about the site, the city, history and temple etiquette. It was our first time at this temple, and we felt welcomed and truly immersed with this experience. We highly recommend taking a tour with her!
