Once you have chosen your kimono or summer yukata, the staff will assist you with a suitable hairstyle and vibrant accessories. The ensemble is completed with footwear (wooden Japanese sandals geta) and a traditional handbag. Spend the rest of the day exploring the charming streets of the Asakusa district at your leisure until 17:30, when the kimono must be returned. If you select the photo shoot add-on, a professional photographer will guide you to the most photogenic locations around Sensoji Temple and Sumida River. The session will last either 30 or 60 minutes, and the edited photos will be sent to you for download within a week.

Kimono rental shop YUI provides an extensive selection of kimono, from easy-to-wear light kimono for casual strolls to traditionally crafted silk kimono for formal events. The shop owner, who practices the tea ceremony, will enhance your experience with a short lesson on drinking Matcha tea in line with Japanese traditions.

For those trying on a kimono, the photo plan is highly recommended. A professional photographer, familiar with the local area, will accompany you to capture stunning portraits. Additionally, there is a studio available, ensuring you can take photos in a kimono even if the weather is unfavorable.
