Highlights
  • Asakusa - Asakusa (浅草) is the heart of Tokyo’s shitamachi (literally “low city”), a district where the ambiance of old Tokyo still lingers. The main highlight of Asakusa is Sensoji, a highly frequented Buddhist temple established in the 7th century. Visitors reach the temple via Nakamise, a shopping street that has been offering a variety of traditional local snacks and tourist souvenirs for centuries. Asakusa is easily walkable, but you might also consider a guided rickshaw (jinrikisha, literally “man powered vehicle”) tour. A 30-minute tour for two costs around 9000 yen, with shorter and longer options available.
  • Shibuya Crossing - Shibuya (渋谷) is one of Tokyo’s 23 city wards, often referring to the bustling shopping and entertainment area around Shibuya Station. Shibuya is one of Tokyo’s most vibrant and busy districts, filled with shops, restaurants, and nightclubs that attract crowds daily. It is a hub for youth fashion and culture, with its streets being the birthplace of many of Japan’s fashion and entertainment trends. The area is home to numerous department stores and shopping malls catering to all kinds of shoppers, many of which are owned by the rival corporations Tokyu and Seibu.
  • The East Gardens of the Imperial Palace (Edo Castle Ruin) - The Imperial Palace East Gardens (皇居東御苑, Kōkyo Higashi Gyoen) are part of the inner palace area and are open to the public. They occupy the former site of Edo Castle’s innermost defense circles, the honmaru (“main circle”) and ninomaru (“secondary circle”). While the main buildings no longer stand, the moats, walls, entrance gates, and several guardhouses remain. Edo Castle was the residence of the Tokugawa shogun who ruled Japan from 1603 to 1867. Emperor Meiji also lived there from 1868 to 1888 before relocating to the newly built Imperial Palace.
【Notice】The gardens are closed on Monday and Friday. On these days, we offer substitutes.

Additional Information

There are several popular destinations that don’t require a tour guide. Tokyo is one of them. Therefore, we provide guests with a simple, more economical plan. However, we are often asked to offer short Tokyo tours, including transfer services like from the cruise port to the airport. To meet these requests, we offer this plan.

The most popular tourist spots in Tokyo are the Imperial Palace, Asakusa, and Shibuya Crossing. We have created a 4-hour plan that allows you to visit all of these locations within that time. Guests who wish to customize their trip can also arrange their preferred visits to the sightseeing spots on the 4-hour course.

The driver may not speak fluent English, but they have good conversational skills and a deep knowledge of Tokyo.
