Fun and Tasty Class - My partner and I had a great time learning about and making sushi in this class. The instructors made the class fun and our sushi actually came out pretty good! Overall this was a cool way to learn about Japanese culture and try something new.

Wonderful experience. - Had a wonderful time. Great experience for a newbie to Japan. We were a couple, but several families with children were there. And enjoyable even for a seasoned gaijin.

Fun sushi making class! - Such a fun experience across the river from the Asahi headquarters in Asakusa. Hayato was a great instructor and the energy of the class was really fun. We selected the nigiri and sake class. I’d recommend this to anyone visiting Tokyo.

Fun sushi making experience! - The sushi making experience was very fun. Misaki taught us all the beginner ins and outs! She has a lot of humour during her teachings and it made it an amazing experience. And the view during the class is very pleasant too!

Sushi Making was Amazing; Walking Tour Terrible - I did the Sushi Making class and the Asakusa Walking Tour. The Sushi Making Class was a 10 out of 10. It was amazing. A lot of fun. Great instruction. Sushi came out beautiful and tasted great. The 2 hour class was the perfect amount of time and the teachers spoke great English. Highly recommend!! By contrast, our Asakusa walking tour was terrible. Our guide could barely speak English and couldn’t tell us anything about what we were seeing. He basically just said, “here is a shop” “here is a burned tree” “here is a shrine” — we ended up telling the guide that we would do the rest on our own and we bailed on the rest of the tour. It was supposed to be 2 hours and we left after 20 minutes. A waste of time and money. TIP - Definitely sign up for ONLY the sushi making class. Careful not to sign up for both. That was the mistake that I made. I didn’t even realize I had signed up for the tour too.
