A great insight to Japanese Traditions - Wonderful welcoming staff who were very informative about all the traditions. Although a little pricey, a lovely tea house, well worth it and i would highly recommend.

Tea ceremony with kimono fitting - This was so fun to do with my daughter. Wearing a beautiful kimono and attending a tea ceremony was such a nice cultural experience. The teacher was so sweet and did a great job explaining all the meaning behind the ceremony! Wonderful!

Taste of Japan and sample of Zen - We went as a group of six family members and friends from 14 years old to 60. The hosts were excellent, and made the whole experience memorable (and were very calm and professional when one of us knocked over the tea!) The sweet-making workshop is fun (maybe go in with an idea of a shape of small sweet you would like to make). The tea part is more a participatory guide through the ceremony rather than an example of the ceremony itself. We got some great photos in the garden in our kimonos.

Beautiful and zen-like experience - A lovely experience filled with old world Japanese transformation and tradition. I was dressed in a beautiful kimono of my choice with my hair styled up and decorated with a flower. My sons looked so handsome in theirs. Making sweets was very relaxing and fun. The tea ceremony was educational and created a zen like atmosphere. Beautiful pictures in a rooftop garden area completed the experience. The dressing ladies and ceremony guides were patient, friendly and attentive. This is a must do activity.

A must do in Tojyo - Fantastic experience. So glad we booked the sweet making and tea ceremony. It was over 2 hours of captivating fun. Dressing up in kimonos was a definite highlight. All the staff were so friendly and spoke great English and contributed to the overall enjoyment factor. The venue location was central and authentic in nature. Booked on the spur of the moment 2 days ago. Can’t believe our luck! Highly recommend doing this.
