Nonverbal performance left me speechless - This show was fantastic. I have visited Tokyo before and went to the Robot Restaurant so when I saw this, I didn't know what to expect but I thought it may be like that. It was definitely not like that! The show blends dancing and superb acting to tell different stories within the run time. There's no words spoken but there aren't any needed. I had to struggle to keep from crying during one of the stories (no spoilers!) The cast also makes you feel welcome when you're there before the show and allows you to take free pictures with them afterwards. Overall, fantastic evening and I would definitely recommend!

Amazing. - The staff was sensational, extremely friendly, most of them spoke English effectively, the show was great and the food very good, I recommend fried chicken. A very contemporary theater style with traditional elements of Japanese culture, would definitely return.

Fabulous show! Dancing, costumes, storytelling, it has it all and should not be missed! - What a fabulous show! From the beautiful, choreographed dancing, to the gorgeous costumes, to the dramatic storytelling, it was captivating from start to finish. It was a wonderful emotional roller coaster, that I would happily watch again. Loved it!

So so experience - Nice dances. Great music and good performance . Uncomfortable place. Too small , everybody piled up. Hard to get a taxi at night in that area.

Disappointing - This is not traditional Japanese dance. It’s a kitschy cabaret performance that was not what I was expecting. Although the dances were entertaining, I was hoping for a more cultural experience. Additionally the seats are very uncomfortable. Getting to the theater requires going up a very steep set of stairs (no elevator) and this could be a problem for someone with mobility issues. We bought our tickets online from a travel activity website and this information about the venue was not included in the information about the location. Since my husband has bad knees we would have skipped this, had we been made aware ahead of time.

A bit disappointed - Was expecting more traditional Japanese dance. Chairs were extremely uncomfortable. Steep stairs to get to the theater and no elevator (possible issue for those who might have mobility problems) not mentioned in venue description. Dances were entertaining but was looking for more of a cultural experience.

Note:this is a cabaret not traditional dance - We mistakenly thought it would be an evening of traditional Japanese dance but though the dancers were talented and costumes beautiful it was a bit cheesy
