A+ Sumo wrestling experience - Overall this was A+. easy to find location. We learned a lot about the practice of Sumo wrestling. The staff was all so nice and accommodating. It was fun to have audience participation, young and old. Food was plentiful and adequate, one should not expect this to be a five star meal, but it was culturally appropriate.

What great fun - DO NOT MISS - What a great experience and one not to be missed. It is an intimate setting with I would guess a max of 100 people so you are close to the action. The Compère explains what is happening and helps you understand the rules of wrestling with the comedic help of the two sumo. The room is divided into two sides and you root for your wrestler. The food is great and the service is even better. The fun doesn't stop there. They ask for volunteers from each side to take on a wrestler dressed in blow-up sumo suits. After all of that there is a group blessing on the dojo (circle throwing salt) and you get your picture with a sumo (included in the price). I cannot recommend this experience highly enough, thank you guys for an unforgettable experience.

Big fun in little Tokyo!! - Big fun in little Tokyo! Two ‘retired’ sumo, wrestlers, one geisha girl, and a ringside announcer like boxing match. The fellows showed us warmups and standard sumo moves, we were assigned a sumo and learned the fight and cheer words, what a riot. The sumos were also quite humorous mugging and joking, too. You could get tossed about like a ragdoll by them if you volunteered. The chicken hotpot was delicious and plentiful, plus fried chicken and more. All in all, excellent value and don’t-miss entertainment!

It was great fun learning about a the sumo culture/history and fantastic to be able to experience learning the rules and watching the final match. The geisha dance was beautiful as well! The hot pot was as delicious and overall such a lovely experience. We would recommend for sure.

Really fun and also super... - Really fun and also super touristy (but we are tourists!). Great family event as it was entertaining and fun. We went to the 8:30 show which was nice to have a “night activity” with our 14 yr old. The food is not great - which we anticipated and luckily ate before the show - but be warned :)
