Begin by watching a brief video about the history and process of creating Tosa Washi. Then, don traditional Japanese work attire known as “samue” and, with the guidance of a friendly instructor, craft your own washi paper. Start by making a plain postcard and embellish it with beautiful colored paper called [Rakusui-shi]. With a variety of colors available, select your favorite four pieces. The workshop is filled with joyful laughter, and many participants are enchanted by the beauty of their completed Japanese paper.
