Friendly step by step paper making - The instructor was very patient and let our party redo the main step because they kept doing it wrong. The paper making experience was enjoyable and let us take something traditional and beautiful back home. Highly recommended.

Experience the craft of washi papermaking - The watashino Traditional Japanese Washi Papermaking experience in Asakusa was a wonderful blend of culture and hands-on learning. The staff were welcoming about sharing the intricate process of making washi paper. It was great to craft my own washi paper to take home. If you’re in Asakusa and looking for something unique, I highly recommend this experience.

Highly recommend. A Unique experience and intimate experience - Kazu-san is wonderful! I walked into the store after seeing it sight seeing and I am so glad I did! Made my own paper from start to finish and the Kazu-san made the process very easy to understand and follow along. Very friendly and peaceful atmosphere. I would highly recommend

Papermaking in the heart of Asakusa - The experience was great. The class is capped at a small number so that everyone has time to create their own paper batch and be mindful of everyones time. The teacher/craftsman was very knowledgeable and enjoyable to learn from. Very unique experience. Highly recommend.

Very good experience - Kazu is a great person who took the time to teach me how to make washi paper. He takes the time to explain before letting us do it, while taking pictures/videos if we wish. Very friendly experience, very interesting discussions and the rendering is very satisfying. All the objects for sale next door are also of a very nice quality, in short I recommend with my eyes closed! It’s not long and worth it if you’re around.
