Great experience - What a wonderful experience. The teacher was so friendly, explaining clearly in English and taking photos throughout the process. There was a great video of the process at the start. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here.

Amazing must do Japanese experience. - Kazu was an amazing teacher. He took us through the traditional paper making experience with so much patience and information. It was a real highlight. You can choose to make coloured paper as well as plain. The explanations were detailed with clear instructions on the techniques needed.

Love the class! - One of the best experiences I had in Asakusa! It’s also very educational, and covers the brief history of paper making. The teacher, Kazu, is very accommodating and patient, and he taught me how to made four beautiful postcards from washi paper. Recommended as one of the must-do activities if you ever come to the Senso-ji area!

Recommended washimaking! - Wonderful! Very kind teacher, funny and patient. Very good humored! We had a wonderful time and learned a lot. The studio corresponded with me before our scheduled visit (to arrange around a holiday) and everyone was very pleasant. Wearing the samue was a neat touch. :)

Intriguing process, hands-on activity, high quality paper - Beautiful little shop, educational experience including learning about the whole process of harvesting mulberry bark, then very hands on in the fascinating process of making the paper. Kaza (sp?) was a knowledgeable and patient teacher. The paper I took home is strong and lovely. Be aware, no restroom in the shop.
