  • 3-chōme-20-18 Daizōji - The meeting point is JR Takatsuki Station, conveniently situated between Kyoto and Osaka stations. It’s just a 15-minute train ride from either direction, making it easily accessible for participants from both cities.

First, participants will receive a brief introduction to the history of Taiko and its importance in Japanese culture.

Next, they will have the opportunity to write their wishes in Kanji (Japanese characters) on a Hachimaki, a traditional Japanese headband.

Then, they will enjoy a powerful Taiko demonstration by a professional instructor.

Following the demonstration, a friendly instructor will teach the basic movements and techniques of Taiko drumming.

Finally, participants will play a simple piece of music together. The experience concludes with a commemorative photo in traditional Japanese attire, including a happi and hachimaki.

Playing Taiko together will be an unforgettable experience in Japan.

The Taiko studio is conveniently located between Osaka and Kyoto, with JR Takatsuki Station being the nearest station, just a 15-minute train ride from both cities.
