Takayama tour - Great tour with interesting explanations. We loved that the tour combined the old part of Takayama with the hida village.

Eco tourism - Fantastic experience of how these communities live. Especially Kanda house is a must visit. Eco tourism does exist here. Great example of living with nature.

Somewhat informative - Some places require a guide, and some are easily self explored. This place ended up being somewhere that was easily self explored and a guide was not really needed.
