Great first canyoning experience, but plan in advance for a few things… - This tour was really fun! It was our first time canyoning but Shu made us feel confident and safe. Shu also tried his best to supplement the Japanese tour with English whenever he could, or demonstrated when he could not explain. Shu also would answer questions about anything we had and seemed really passionate about his responses! The area itself was beautiful. Kayaking you will see plenty of crabs and fish, and it was peaceful. Canyoning was really exciting! And we didn’t see anyone besides our own tour group the whole time. Some small negative points… -We were both vegan and did not know in advance there would be a 90 minute lunch break in town (on your own, at your own expense) so we wish we had known in advance that we needed to bring food and would have that long break. Be prepared if this is also you. -The tour ending also was not well timed for the ferry - we had to wait 90 minutes at the port. But luckily it was timed at least before the last ferry… -if you are coming from Ishigaki check the ferry price. We were unpleasantly surprised at the high cost on top of the tour cost (nothing bad about PiPi just something to keep in mind)

Pipi Adventures, YES! - The Kayak excursion was quiet, but precisely for that reason, if you need disconnection, relaxation and beauty, the Kayak excursion through the mangroves is ideal. In the afternoon, our guide, Bandi, gave us a little more adrenaline by jumping into the river and canyoning. Very fun, very refreshed and enjoyable! ☺️ Recommended!

It was the best day ever! - Pipi took care of us both in the morning and afternoon today. It was my first time canyoning, and I was scared to jump in, but it was a lot of fun! The part at the end where we jumped in from a high place was thrilling and awesome! The river was shallow and the waves were calm, so it was easy to paddle. We did hit some trees, but even with that it was awesome! We could see plants like mangroves and a variety of fish! We got to experience the nature of Iriomote Island at its best! Above all, it was all thanks to our guide, Kouki, that we were able to enjoy ourselves so much! He was great, explaining things clearly and livening things up with his interesting stories! If I come to Iriomote Island again, I'd definitely ask Pipi to help me! Thank you!

I was able to enjoy plenty of nature. - This was my first time visiting Iriomote Island! I was nervous about SUP at first, but once I got used to it, I was able to stand up and paddle on my back and it was fun. While walking, Xavi introduced me to the history and plants of the island, so I learned a lot 😙 The river next to the waterfall was cold and refreshing! If I have the chance, I'd like to go to Iriomote Island again and snorkel next time ✨️

Iriomote Mangrove/Canyoning Tour - The kayaking tour was relaxing and enjoyable. The canyoning was much colder than I expected, and the force of the waterfall was stronger than I expected, so it was a real experience of experiencing nature. I'm glad I signed up for the tour, because I felt that canyoning would be difficult without a guide from a safety standpoint.

It was a tour where you could feel the nature of the jungle. - Because it was the busy Obon period, we moved up the meeting time. Thanks to that, we had the place to ourselves and were able to enjoy ourselves to the fullest, which gave us some great memories. Thank you, Bandy.

Even children in the lower grades of elementary school can enjoy it! - I took my son, who is in the second grade of elementary school, with me. The content was great enough for a child of this age to enjoy, and both parents and children had a great time. In addition, the staff were very considerate of my child, so he managed to muster up the courage to jump into the river. Thank you so much to all the staff!

Experience Ishigaki's Unique Nature - We ended up only doing the Mangrove Forest portion in the Afternoon. Ferries to Uehara were cancelled due to wind, so we had to ferry to Ohara (south side of Island) and take a bus to Uehara. This meant we were too late to join the morning trip. When we called to explain they let us select which one we wanted in the afternoon, and we chose the Canoe Tour. We made the right choice choosing the Mangrove Forest tour! We split up into two groups of 2 and 3 people. Ayuka-san was our guide and brought us through the Mangrove Forest while giving great information about the Forest and Wildlife in the area. There was also some trekking that led to some great photo opportunities. A great way to experience the unique nature of Ishigaki!
