- River City Bangkok - 07.30am - Check in at River City Shopping Complex\n\n08.00am - Depart from Bangkok by air - conditioned coach to Ayutthaya province.\n- Ayutthaya Province - 09.15am Here you will see several sacred temples and also famous landmarks, including Wat Phutthaisawan, Wat Mahathat, Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit. \n- Grand Pearl Cruise - 13.00pm Welcome on board to Grand Pearl Cruiser at WAT CHONG LOM (Pathum Thani province) for cruising back to Bangkok along the Chao Praya river. Begin your full-day tour with a journey north of Bangkok to Ayutthaya. The capital and namesake of a 14th-century Siamese kingdom, the preserved ruins of the city are a UNESCO World Heritage Site teeming with archaeological wonders—palaces and temples.
Start exploring at the majestic royal monastery where the white prang (Khmer-style pagoda), located in the middle of the ancient compound and then continue to the temple of Wat Mahathat, where you can see a special tree with the face of Buddha encased in its trunk. Listen to your knowledgeable guide share the story of the Burmese invasion that destroyed the city. Your exploration of spiritual sites continues at Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit. At about 1:00pm. hop aboard a boat and enjoy a superb buffet lunch while cruising along the gentle currents of the Chao Phraya River. Return back to River City at approximately 4:00pm.

Good value for money for a family trip - Our guide Donna was excellent. She is funny and engaging, while also explaining the details of what we were going to see. The best thing I liked about this trip was that everything is very punctual. The tour started on the dot on time, and we were back in the hotel on time.
Ayuthaya is beautiful - and while the tour doesnt stop at every single place, it does stop at all the key highlights - the Wat Mahathat , the Main palace & the sleeping Buddha.
The highlight of the trip is clearly the cruise back from Ayuthaya to Bangkok. The food on board is fantastic (you have vegetarian options as well for those who need it) and you get to see some very beautiful sights along the river.
This tour is highly recommended for couples who need a structured trip, and for families with children.

Follow Donna :) - Our guide Donna knew so much about Ayutthaya and gave good advice all day. The boat ride back to Bangkok was actually a river cruise on a nice boat with an elaborate buffet. I was pleasantly surprised by that. We had a great day.

Very informative and very organized tour, with ample time per temple - This tour should be at the top of everyone's list. Extremely enjoyed this tour, plus we had a great guide Beer. He was very knowledgeable and explained the history of Ayutthaya in detail at every stop. Ample time was given for each attraction and plenty of photos were taken. The boat trip back was excellent and great food too

Totally enjoyed this tour! Hassle free, comfy bus and kudos to our guide! - Tour guide is super infomative and fun! Schedule is on time, everything went smoothly. Ayutthaya is so interesting and very beautiful! and with our tour guide we get to know more about the history. The trip also included the lunch on board the boat and that was for us the best part of the day. I would recommend people to try this!

Group of 6 - We enjoyed our tour with our guide Donna very much.
Lunch in the boat was a little disappointing. Our group of six arrived. There were many people already in the boat eating lunch. Many of the items were cold. And one item never got replaced.
We did enjoy the ride back on the boat.

Ayutthaya cruise tour. - The tour guide was nice. The coach driver was good. The guide had plenty of information to tell us about the different places we stopped, but it didn't give us too much time to explore, etc..So we felt a little rushed at times to get back to the bus. Overall it was nice though. The lunch cruise back to Bangkok was nice too with good foods.

Great tour - wear pants - Great tour! We did feel a little rushed at some of the stops, but the guide was great at keeping us on schedule. Really enjoyed the leisurely boat ride back into Bangkok.
Suggest not picking up until 7 so everyone can grab their hotel breakfast - there was no reason to wait for more than 90 mins at the bus stop for the tour to start. Also, a heads up either in the tour description or in the hotel pick up confirmation regarding the dress code required for some of the stops would be appropriate.

lovely - wonderful day and loved our guide. My only complaint is that i would skip the Summer Palace, or shorten it up greatly in order to give more time at Wat Maha That. far too short there.. very rushed and the guide didn't have the time to fully describe.. This to me was the most important stop of the day and it was one of the shorter stops... Think the explanation should be clearer as to how long you are on the ship (which i loved by the way) but i know some were disappointed...

Don’t cancel and make us pay - The tour was cancelled within the 24hr cancellation period and they tried to make us cancel it to avoid paying for it. Had to contact Tripadvisor to get a refund. This was very poor and disappointing.
