Locals worshiping at hidden temples, ritual paper burnings, and the omnipresent spirit house display evidence of a culture centuries in the making.

Great biking tour! - We had a great time on our biking tour. We saw Bangkok like we would never if we would been by ourselves. We stopped at local small shops for drinks and food and we learned some Thais along the way.
Our tourguide Mike is the sweetest, most patience, funny guy we met! He stayed calm during busy traffic as we are good bike riders but not the best and were so consumed with all that we saw.
We would highly recommend this tour. We saw a lot. Learned a lot and it was a fun ride.

Great way to see the other side of Bangkok with kids - We did this tour with our 3 kids, aged 8, 10 and 11. 2 of them were able to bike by themselves; the 3rd one turned out to be just a little too short so she got to ride on the back.
We had a great group of guides; the one we biked most with was Mike. It’s been a week but the kids are still talking about him!
The tour was so nice and it was amazing to discover that the busy city of Bangkok also has these laidback and tranquille back streets.
Absolute advise to book this tour. Even though there were 15 people on our tour, it almost felt like a private one!

Bangkok by bike a great experience !! - Fantastic way to see Bangkok and enjoy the atmosphere. We rode through the streets of Chinatown, over the river, saw an amazing temple and enjoyed some of the local fruits. Mike and his sister Desi were our tour guides and were friendly, helpful and looked after us superbly as we travelled from one area to another. I would highly recommend the bike tour in Bangkok to anyone wanting to see lots in a short amount of time. Thank you so much Mike and Desi

Best way to see hidden Bangkok! - Highly recommend Co Van Kessell's terrific 5-hour combo bike and canal boat tour! A great way to see the "other side" of Bangkok, mostly back streets, alleys and some parkland, but we also hit Wat Samphothawangsaram (aka Wat Ko), a very old Buddhist temple with a huge sitting Buddha inside. The bikes are solid, the ride easy, and our guides Nancy and Katty were awesome!

A great way to explore the city! - Such a nice way to explore the city! The guide was friendly, the tour interesting and the bikes were fine. The speed was not very high so we had enough time to see everything along the way. Definitely value for money.

Great way to see the city, read up on the temples and history yourself before you take the tour. - We did the 5 hour bike tour which is an excellent way to see the city. Guides are nice but could've shared a more information. Make sure you read up on the temples yourself before you go on the tour, you'll get more out of it. Also you need to be comfortable on the bike, because you go ride over some narrow walkways and through narrow streets that have some little obstacles. This tour is well organized and they make sure you have enough water.

Nice bike tour through the real Bangkok - Co van Kessel is a very professional organization. From booking until arriving and getting ready for the bike tour: it's all very nicely organized.
Bikes are good - specifically for the task: expect to drive very calmly through neighbourhood allies, markets and small streets.
A little bit of a downside: i experienced the winding through narrow allies with sharp bends as going very slow. Also, driving through busy and narrow market streets is not that much fun. In the past I did another bike tour through more natural neighbourhoods ("bush") which I thought was great fun too.
Guides are very good and helpful - explain the right level of detail, and do also not talk too much.
I would skip visiting a temple as part of the tour as I go visit enough temples already... but this is again just my personal opinion.
All in all I would certainly recommend going on a guided your with Co van Kessel!

Great for an afternoon - Overall, would recommend! However, I don't think it's necessary to cycle through China Town and disturb everyone trying to work. For the most part, we were stuck behind delivery trucks. Also, the last ten minutes was very invasive and absolutely should be removed from the tour. Rich foreign people ride bikes through shanty town? Let's leave the woman trying to shower in peace. Please remove this part from your tour. Our guides was absolutely lovely though and other than the aforementioned above, it's great and well-worth the money. Very safe, too.

Not the best bicycle tour - Would not really recommend the tour. The tour guide didn’t really speak English. He also did not provided much information about the things we were passing or seeing. In addition there were snacks given at the end of the tour. But there were not enough for everyone which caused arguments. For the price that we paid we expected more. It felt like renting a bike and riding after someone.
