Canada travelers - A fun experience on the train ride into the market. Interesting concept with vendors displays just inches from the train when it travels by. The floating market is really cool however they should ban the gas propelled boats in favor of paddling. Too much CO in the air. Our guide Mr Aekaphol was the best. Very helpful to find a way back to our hotel after finishing the tour.

Fabulous trip, don't miss it - The trip started in a minibus from central Bangkok. Grab is a cheaper option than taxis if you aren't walking distance Our guide was good fun and gave us a commentary, with very specific timings and meeting place to return to after stops. The railway market is so cheap and a really fun experience. The train itself is 50 years old, so not the hight of comfort, but a great way to see rural Bangkok You get to experience the journey through the market as well as being in the market as the train sets out on its return journey 10 minutes later The bus then took us to the floating markets. We had an hour for lunch/browsing, then rejoined our tour to get in a longboat through the canals to see fixed stalls and stalls on boats. You just tell your boat captain if you want to stop and look at anything The group then got back on the minibus back to Bangkok, with the option of being dropped off at MBK shopping mall or back at the original meeting point This trip was a really special insight into the less commercial side of Bangkok and we thoroughly enjoyed it

Time - Great experience but it was very rush. Would have been better to have spent more time at each activity. There was not even enough time to eat lunch.

Only downside: the 2 x 1H30 bus of course incompressible Enjoyed the return to the MBK Shopping Mall near our hotel - Professional team Good organization, well timed Visit to the salt marshes Short trip by train and then by boat to the floating market

Great guide, but overall no 5/5 - The guide was very funny and really tried hard. Organization was also great. From the side I would give 5/5. The Railway Market (1/5) was not worth visiting in my opinion. Far too many tourists and you were only 15 minutes on site and watched the train leave. That's all it was. Floating market (5/5), on the other hand, was impressive. You were driven through the canals and could buy a delicious drink or other things from the boat. On site you could still eat lunch, which also tasted great. Overall it was a trip that took about 6 hours. With very little time, I might do something else. But if you have more time, I can definitely recommend it.

What’s all the hype? - Now that I have experienced this tour, I do not recommend. The trip is longer than the time spent at the markets, however, there’s not much too see or buy. Go to the Paragon mall market to buy your local fruits, better quality.

Uncomfortably overcrowded which ruined the experience - Overcrowded. It was very uncomfortable due to the sheer number of people there. Some effort needs to be made to limit numbers to make this experience better for all.
