Great Floating market experience! - Kay our tour guide was amazing! She was very friendly and knowledgeable! She shared lots of info not just about the floating market but generally about Thailand. She also made sure to take pictures of me which was soo helpful! Our driver was also great, friendly and got there and back safe! Thank you both for a great trip!

Amazing! - Absolutely worth every cent everything was perfect other than the flat tire on the way back into the city but that was out of their control. Highly recommend!! Our guide was great and we were able to purchase and sample tons of unique foods and souvenirs.

Not bad - The Damnoen Saduak Floating Market was a unique experience that was exciting at first and made for great pictures, but felt too much like a tourist trap after a while. The food and items being sold in the market were all the same: pad thai, mango w sticky rice, etc., which didn't even taste that good. Overall, I would say this was an OK experience and do not feel particularly thrilled to revisit this place.

Great experience! - The tour was really good with the guide being very knowledgeable and making sure we adhered to the busy schedule. The only thing I would change is to skip the coconut farm experience so we had more time at the floating market.

Long way to go for not very much - Enjoyed the market itself and boat trip. Excellent selection of local food. It is a tourist attraction not a proper market. Downside is a very long journey. In our case with a full bus with no air conditioning so that temperatures got to 39 degrees and an unnecessary stop at a ‘coconut factory’ on the way home

Meeting time is too early! - The floating market was a play of colors, sounds and Thai culture. But the tour has more things to improve on: - call time is too early. we were picked up at 630am from our hotel but the tour started at 730 from River City, so we had around 45mins of waiting time. - the tour could have started at 8am then went straight to the floating market instead of stopping by a coconut farm (that looked like a tourist trap) for 45mins. We got to the floating market around 10am and spent only 1.5h there. - the tour guide and driver talked non-stop in the van the whole time! They were noisy! - the van was bumpy & the driver drove so fast

Not very exciting…just very hot. - I was in Thailand in March between Phuket and Bangkok and it was a great experience....the last few days I visited Bangkok and among the various excursions I went to the Damnoen Saduak floating market. It is located 100km from Bangkok, I would say it is only a tourist place. I reached the indicated point with a private car, paying around 1100 baht for a return trip for two. The river is very dirty, along the way you can barely move due to the numerous boats. Most of the time you get stuck absorbing all the bad smells from the engines of the small boats. It wasn't a good experience... as the Thais say it's only a tourist attraction.
