Great day to see the markets with an English speaking guide. - It was good day out. Risa was excellent. She was attentive and informative, as well as just a lovely lady. The train was late and she explained everything that was going on. Once at train street she showed us around and got a good spot to watch it leave. It is very close to you. We then went on to the floating markets this was good to see. The long motor engine powered boats do spoil the atmosphere but that’s not anything to do with the trip. We had some lovely food and bartered for some clothes in the market.

Highly recommended this trip - Excellent trip with friendly and informative guide. Picked up from hotel then drove to the train station with an hour on the train. Arriving at the market was an experience with a large waiting crowd cheering the train in. Then onto the floating market which was great fun. Highly recommend and good value.

Excellent experience, don't be put off by the crowds - Great experience and don't be put off by the crowds. Our wonderful tour guide KAY, made us feel like it was a personal tour and cared for us all day. She gave us valuable information about the places we visited, but also about places we passed on the way there.

Really good - The guide was really helpful and prepared. We had some problems understanding where the place for the pick up would be and he was really patient. Overall a nice experience

Great experience! - Aekaphol was a great tour guide with lots of knowledge. The markets were great and such a fun experience. Recommend this tour but note it is more of a full day tour with the travel times.

Two fun activities in a short period of time. - This was a really fun day. The railway tour and ride was a great experience, especially when we rolled into the station and saw hundreds of people waving and crammed up against the tracks. The river market was lovely also. There were a lot of people but everything was run very efficiently. It's a great day trip from Bangkok.

Long day for short key experiences - This tour was not really what we expected. A lot of travel - whacky races - on highways for what turned out to be a rushed experience at the the key venues. There was circa 2 hours travel to get to the train - 45 mins on a train to a market where had around 15/20 mins before back on the coach again to the floating market. As others have said this was an unusual experience with slow hand paddle boats mixed with large ‘long tail’ engine boats. No health and safety here. Floating market was better to see than the railway market which was very very boring. Both venue were just commercial with lots of ‘tat’ being pushed your way and animals - snakes, lemurs etc on show. Then had another 2 hours of ‘whacky races’ back to a central drop off at MDK. Be prepared for a long tiring day for a short experience at both key venues.

Fascinating but a bit rushed - It was a fascinating trip. The guide was lovely. However it was way too rushed at the railway market. A good look around would have been better. Then, we should have been better briefed on the floating market. We would have potential bought something from the boat but we did not realise the potential for that. It was cool, but too rushed.

Nice attractions ruined by rude and selfish people on tour - The railway market was a really cool experience - you only get about 30 minutes to explore which doesn't allow you to get far because it's very crowded. But riding the train in was fun and watching it leave while squished into a shop was a real highlight. The floating market was also really nice, it was vibrant, colourful and somewhat chaotic, but absolutely unique. My review is 3/5 because we had some very rude people on the tour. They held up the van by 15 minutes, bossed around other people and forced someone to change seats. At the floating market I unfortunately had to sit next to one on the boat which made the whole experience uncomfortable as they gave me no personal space and I wasn't on the side of the shops, so I couldn't buy anything. They also hit on the women passing by and only spoke to themselves in Italian. This really dampened the experience for me and made it the worst tour I've done so far. I think the tour guide could have paid closer attention to how they made others uneasy and tried to keep people in groups they actually enjoyed being around. I made an awesome friend on the tour, but wasn't allowed to sit on the same boat as them.
