  • Wat Suthat - Built in the early 19th century to house the large 25-foot-tall Phra Sri Sakyamuni Buddha statue, this temple features the huge red frame of a giant swing once used in annual ceremonies to celebrate and thank Shiva.

  • Wat Ratchanatdaram Woravihara (Loha Prasat) - The Loha Prasat is an amazing building with an iron roof made of 37 spires signifying the 37 enlightenment virtues of Buddhism.

  • Klongs - These are the many small waterways or canals that snake through the city of Bangkok. On this tour, specifically running from Phanfa Lilat Pier to Saphan Hua Chang Pier.

Beginning at the River City Shopping Mall, embark on a journey through some of Bangkok’s most historical areas and edifices as you navigate the old quarters of Talad Noi and Chinatown. Visit or catch a glimpse of ancient landmarks like the Holy Rosary Church, the structure hosting the first Thai bank, and age-old residences teeming with captivating narratives. The excursion guides you down lanes showcasing captivating street art on aging structures. The itinerary also includes Chinese shrines (The Tiger Shrine), hallowed temples (Wat Ratchabophit, Wat Suthat, Wat Ratchanadaram), the Loha Prasat monastery and an exhilarating long-tail speedboat voyage into the city’s heart via a klong (canal). En route, several pauses will be taken to savor an array of Thai savories hidden in places lesser known to tourists - a true Thai experience! A petite Dim Sum feast at Lhong Tou Cafe OR a noodle/rice dish at Sae Poon Shop near the famous Khao San Road will provide a delectable breather.

  • Approximate distance is 8kms of walking plus the tuk-tuk ride and the long-tail speedboat ride. This is not an arduous walk, but a moderate level of fitness is required
  • Children 11 and younger must be accompanied by a paying adult.
  • Not recommended for children 7 years and younger due to the distance walked
  • The guide can arrange a tuk tuk (at customer’s expense) should the customer not wish to continue walking the route
