Immersive and safe - As a solo female traveler this felt very safe! I was picked up by a driver in a nearby hotel and he drove me there and then back whenever I was ready and didn’t rush me. The people here were so kind and helpful, I loved the educational aspect and the immersive performances of tradition such as a daughter singing a goodbye song to her mother before she got married, traditional games, live music dances, etc! Also the lunch was amazing, many picky eater/vegetarian options! And of course the views were amazing both on the drive and at the village.

Must go tour! - Highly recommend this trip. We were given a wonderful insight into the history of the Huns and their nomadic culture. The village is about an hour from central Almaty where we were staying. This is a village specially designed for tourists -- and they didn't disappoint. We got to hear stories of their past sitting inside a yurt, tasted fermented horsemilk, saw an acrobatic horse riding show and were given a wonderful buffet lunch.

A fantastic tour - I highly recommend this tour. I enjoyed everything about it: the singing, the horse show, the food, the guides, the explanations of the Huns lifestyle. All top class. You can even ride the horses and try archery if you like. One of my favorite tours I've ever been on.

Wonderful insight into Nomadic life - We had a wonderful day. I booked through trip adviser and was contacted the night before to confirm that a taxi was collecting us from our hotel in the morning. The driver was lovely, and took us directly to the location - about 50 minute trip. We arrived and were welcomed by the people there and chatted to other visitors until they were ready to start at 11am. The day included some wonderful food, marvellous displays of horsemanship and an insight into the nomadic way of life. We were done by about 2pm.

Friendly and Informative. - We absolutely loved the village and the people there. The range of activities were great. However, the driver that took us and the office arranging could have been more pro-active. There was a lot of stress caused because we did not get a message the day before. I was chasing around. The office said the telephone number was slightly wrong but if that was the case, he could have used TripAdvisor App or my e mail. The village would now benefit from some ramps to make it more accessible but overall a great experience.

Glance on Past - I understand that may be unhappy about it. Yet we had good morning over there. The activates were well planned and preformed well. It gave us a better prospect on how the nomadic life was. You can enjoy many things by learning on spot about the past.
