A must if you are in the area! - If you are on the fence about this, do it! We had a complete blast. They let you take your own team of dogs out which is terrifying at first but really cool. You can pet so many dogs. AND THERE WERE PUPPIES! The property is beautiful. The dogs are well behaved and well cared for. You can tell that they really care about the welfare of the dogs. The dogs who were retired or no longer working were either adopted out or given free range outside of the dog yard. Our guide Winter was super friendly and knowledgeable. The gentleman who drove us (sorry, we are bad with names) was also very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of good info during the drive there and back. Well worth the money if you are a dog person. It is an active dog kennel with over 100 dogs and muddy little puppies. Plan accordingly with your attire and footwear and you will be all good. I would like to come back and try on the snow

A must - an amazing eperience - We had an amazing time at AK Sled dog tours. Isaac was our tour leader. His love, dedication and passion for the sled dogs and his knowledge of the history of sled dogs and sled dog racing was extremely in depth and interesting. We loved mixing with the dogs and the 1 week and 6 month old puppies. The sledding was also fabulous. The owner Dallas Seavey has won the infamous Iditarod trail race 6 times. We were able to meet some of the champion sled dogs. We will be watching Isaac and his team of dogs in the Iditarod trail race over 8-9 days in up to -40 weather in March. Good luck Isaac. Absolutely fabulous - This sled ride exceeded my expectations. I loved it. The dogs are loving, and I was amazed at how they cheered for the other dogs that started their sleds, then they went silent after the sleds left their site. The sled dogs were just fantastic.
