Book this AMAZING tour! - My mom and I planned a Northern Europe trip for my birthday, and during the planning stages, we realized that Estonia was very close to Helsinki. At first, I wanted to do a self-guided tour because I don't have the patience to sit on a group tour. However, I wouldn't even know where to begin planning. I am SO glad I booked this tour. Dmitry started communicating with me two months prior to the tour to let me know he would be sharing tickets and details in the week of the tour. No follow-ups were needed—he was on top of it! On the day of the tour, we had no issues with checking in and getting on the ship. I must say: try to be one of the first onboard to get a good seat. The ship departs early and it takes about two hours. We were still half asleep, so it was good to have one of the best seats to relax. Upon arrival, our tour guide Darja was waiting for us and started our tour right away, giving us a lot of information about Tallinn. She took us to every major sight and was so patient with us wanting to take pictures. She is also SO knowledgeable about the history of Tallinn and all the buildings. She was amazing at understanding which places excited us the most and provided extra time for us to enjoy those places. I can't thank this team enough for such an amazing experience. I am definitely coming back and will do this tour again!

A great day out - We had a really lovely day to Tallin. We didn’t know we’d to get our tickets validated before the entrance barriers but otherwise it all went like clockwork. Our guide met us at the ferry terminal and we’d a swift transfer into Tallin old town. She was a great guide and was very considerate to those in the group who couldn’t walk as fast. Excellent walking tour - very interesting and informative. Near the end of the tour our guide showed us where we would be picked up and told us when to be there. Her instructions were very clear . We had free time after the walking tour before we made our way back, by coach, to catch the ferry. A great day out - we’d a lovely sunny day so that was an added bonus! We checked into the lounge on the ferry on the way back. Very comfortable; very quiet and very reasonable. Cheaper still if it’s booked in advance. We enjoyed the relaxing sail home and the food; wine and beer. All in all a great day out.

Interesting tour and great organization - We booked the tour just a day in advance. Even in that short amount of time, organization went smoothly : I was contacted the same day with QR codes etc for the ferry, and clear instructions related to how the visit would be organize. Our guide, Svetlana, was great : she had lots of anecdotes about Tallin, led the visits just as you would expect, and gave us nice recommendations for lunch options and shops. Thank you!

Tallinn Day Trip - The most worth seeing is the Old Town of Tallinn. It is a bit like Prague or CK Town, with red roofs dotted with many Gothic spires. It is said that there are more than 60 such spires in the city. The ancient city walls, cobblestone roads, and buildings of different styles all make people travel back to the transportation hub and trade center of the Middle Ages. The English tour guide who led us on the tour was great, very knowledgeable, and explained in detail. If we were to wander around without a tour guide, we would definitely take a lot of detours and miss many attractions. Therefore, if it is your first time to Tallinn, it is necessary to have a local tour guide.

Wish I had more time... - Great tour guide and wonderful trip. The instructions were incorrect and you need a native English speaker to write these instructions.

Excellent tour - It was a very nice tour even though it was snowing. The very attentive guide picked us up at the port and gave us the tour by car and some time on foot through the snowfall. But it was very nice

Good logistics but mediocre tour guide - Logistics/locations: We feel that the logistics were handled very well. The ferry tickets were emailed to us right away. The ferry ride itself was very pleasant since there was a a lot of entertainment and food. The guide had a sign when she met us on the Tallin side. They had a driver take us first to the palace, which was a bit far from the old town. We probably wouldn’t have seen it if we were doing it on our own. At the end of the the day, a bus picked us up from old town and took us back to the ferry port. Information/presentation: The information shared was ok. The guide seemed to only know surface level information such as the style of the buildings and timelines. Some of the things she shared were very obvious and didn’t add to our understanding of the culture and history such as how the museums had permanent and rotating exhibits. There’s no storytelling, just facts so just know what you’ll be getting. Overall, we felt that the ease of having someone else handle the logistics and learning a little was better than doing it on our own. We definitely saw parts of the town we would not have seen and it made for a very efficient way to do a day trip to Tallin.

Ferry tour from Helsinki - The guide and the treatment were super good, perhaps he was very entertained in the explanations and we could have seen more things. But the organization and the staff highly recommended.
