Tallinn from the highest point. Recommended experience - We visited the Tallinn TV Tower on Reservation for Dinner. Large free parking available immediately at the exit. The tower stands in a beautiful park. At the base there is a small shop. Before reaching the panoramic terrace there is a floor in which the history of the television tower is illustrated where experiences for children are also available. The view is really very nice; you can see Tallinn and suburbs from the highest point. Prices in line with experience.

Make sure to dedicate more time - I think it's very nice. The museum part of it is very interesting and interactive, and the overall experience was super nice. The people working there were super helpful as well. You do need to have more time dedicated for it, because it's further away into the city, and it will take time to look around and get back.

Very beautiful views from the top of the tower. - Amazing views from the top of the tower. On a clear day you can see the whole area. I visit on a Monday, very calm day no queues practically empty only school excursions, perfect to see everything without disputing a space with people...

unavoidable - Unmissable, entry included in the Tallin Card (fortunately because it is quite expensive), the elevator ride is quick and from the (covered) room at the top you will have a 360° view of Tallin and its surroundings. Impressive, don't forget to walk on the portholes provided for this purpose (don't get dizzy). It is possible to access the upper circular panoramic walkway, crossing the restaurant, the wind at this height takes your breath away and jostles you, what an experience!!! Naturally a visit to make in case of good weather it enhances everything, otherwise in the mist, I dare not imagine!!

Suprisingly interesting insight. Useful museum, great cafe and fabulous views - A surprisingly fascinating insight into Estonian history - and great views. Worth allowing more than the 1-2 hours suggested.

Must visit when in Tallinn. - Such a fun experience, specially at the balcony with the high winds! All the staff so friendly and nice. At the top they have see through holes that might be scary for some to stand on, but so fun!

The view from Estonia's tallest building - The tower is far from the city: we arrived with a Bolt on the way and returned by bus. It is similar to many other TV towers and the entrance is certainly not cheap (18 Euro each), but the tower is the tallest building in Estonia (314 m) and the view from the top of the area is very nice. On the ground floor, in addition to the shop, is explained, with large images, the history of the Tower, built in the 70s and finished at great speed by the USSR which, meanwhile, had been selected to host the 1980 Olympics. When Estonia declared independence in 1991, an armed contingent of the USSR tried to take possession of the tower which was defended by people who rushed there to obstruct the Soviets. A small number of Estonian soldiers barricaded themselves on the floor where the communications equipment was and blocked the elevator. Climbing the stairs wasted the Russians' time, and so the tower was saved. With a very fast elevator you go up to the 21st floor, a large panoramic room with some "portholes" in the floor, from which you can see the void under your feet, and some multimedia or experiential equipment. We could not go to the terrace because of the wind (and the cold!) but we did not mind. There is also, upstairs, a restaurant. But of course the most beautiful thing is to look at a green territory (and in our case, being winter, also very white!), flat as we are not used to, and that is lost in the sea...

Nice view. But nothing more. - A little outside of Tallinn. The view was nice, the selection and service in the restaurant could be better.
