• Slītere National Park - Begin your journey in one of the charming Livonian fishing villages along the Baltic Sea coast. Discover sandy beaches and dense pine forests. Embark on a 12-kilometer hike through the coastal forest trail. Take a break to enjoy and purchase the renowned Latvian smoked flatfish, and learn about its preparation from a local. Breathe in the fresh sea air and admire the beautiful pine forest. On warm days, swim in the sea and bask in the sun on the stunning sandy beach.

Note: During the winter season (from 1 October to 30 April), hiking time will be shorter (around 3-4 hours) and smoked fish may not be available.

• Slītere Lighthouse - After your coastal hike, explore the pristine ancient forest in Slītere National Park. Stroll along the boardwalk to see unique protected forest and bog habitats. Visit Slītere Lighthouse for a panoramic view of the national park and its forests.

Note: Slītere Lighthouse is not accessible during the winter season (from 1 October to 30 April).
