The best vacation experience! - We went to Zaina Lodge for the 3 day tour with safaris and it was wonderful. Issac was excellent. Friendly and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to help us get a flight out of Tamale after the airline changed our flight without notice. He didn’t leave our side until things were settled. Great experience! We will refer friends and family to him.

The Best Vacation Ever! - Our first trip from the United States to Ghana was a trip my family and I will never forget. It was undoubtedly the best vacation I have ever been on. Grassroots Tours is definitely to thank for that. They were so organized and reliable throughout the entire planning process. Our most amazing tour guide, Isaac, is truly the best tour guide ever! He was exceptionally accommodating, punctual, informative, kind and fun. When I return to Ghana, I will be contacting Grassroot Tours and requesting Isaac to be my tour guide, again.

Grassroots Tours, led by Isaac, provided an unforgettable journey in Ghana - A remarkable travel experience! - My family, consisting of 11 members spanning ages 13 to mid-70s, embarked on a remarkable journey to West Africa, with Ghana as one of our key destinations. We were fortunate to have Isaac from Grassroots Tours as our guide. From the initial stages of planning, Isaac played a pivotal role, assisting us with our visa application and gave us useful tips on what to expect when we arrived. We communicated via email months prior to our departure, and he was always very responsive and helpful. Upon arrival in Ghana, we were treated to an unexpected and heartwarming African welcoming ceremony. It was a great start to our adventure. Isaac's commitment to tailoring our tour days in Accra to our preferences was evident. Despite having a packed itinerary, he ensured we didn't miss any of the attractions we were eager to explore. His attention to detail and flexibility made the experience all the more enjoyable. During our safari tour in Tamale, Isaac was able to accommodate one of our group members with limited mobility by modifying the itinerary. This thoughtful adjustment ensured that everyone was able to fully participate, have a good time, and see the wildlife. I can't recommend Grassroots Tours enough, and Isaac was the best guide we could have asked for. If I’m fortunate enough to return to this magical place, I would not hesitate to request Isaac as our guide once again. Great job Grassroots Tours!!

An overall wonderful experience - We planned a family trip to West Africa, including Ghana, and decided to contact Grassroot Tours, the best decision we could have made. Isaac was our primary contact and was tremendously helpful before we ever arrived in Ghana. He was instrumental in helping us with our visa application, hiring a photographer/videographer to document our memories, to customizing our tours around our tight schedule and even arranging a special airport greeting (Akwaaba). Isaac customized two days of tours in Accra, including, a naming ceremony, the Last Bath, Cape Coast Castle, WEB Du Bois Center, Black Star Gate, markets, and culminating with a customized two-day safari in Mole National Park, Tamale in northern Ghana. The Zaina Lodge sits above a large watering hole where several large animals frequent, mostly elephants, baboons, and others. While at the lodge an armed escort is required after dark because many animals are present. The driving safaris allowed us to witness many animals in their natural habitats including, elephants, baboons, warthogs, antelope, crocodiles, monkeys, buffalo, guineafowl and many other species of birds. I highly recommend Grassroot Tours if you are planning a trip to Ghana and further, I recommend requesting Isaac because he is very knowledgeable, professional, attentive to details, and a willingness to adapt to any given situation. He provided us with exceptional customer service from airport pickup to timely return for our departing flight. The greatest. Thanks, Uncle George
