waterfall trip - First of all, the guides are lovely! Professional! Full of information and give the feeling that we have known each other and are friends for a while. The challenging part is the climb back up, but at the same time I did it with a can of beer in my hand :) and I even overcame my fear and jumped in the small waterfall. It's a shame I didn't get to know the company at the beginning of my stay in El Tunco.

Challenging and amazing! - Great trip! I wasn’t sure how full the falls would be since it’s the dry season, but they were absolutely gorgeous!!! Pictures don’t do it justice. I have some health issues and I would rate the hike as challenging but short enough that it was doable for me. I believe it was about 1.5 miles each way, and took me about 45min-1hr. I was significantly slower than the rest of the group, but the guides (shoutout to Chamba and Kevin) were super sweet and patient with me. I booked online a few hours before the trip and heard from Salva right away. Easy peasy!

Amazing tour, highly recommend - Chamba was an amazing guide who had interesting facts and a good vibe. The waterfalls + cliff jumps were so great and we ended with delicious local ice cream.

Excursion of 10!! - Loved the excursion, all very safe and fun with the guides!! Always super attentive to us, they lent us pictures and explain everything!!

Amazing Waterfall Tour / Hike - I highly recommend you do this tour with Tunco Life! Our tour guides Salva and Kevin were so wonderful. They made this experience absolutely amazing!

Very fun half day getaway - I did the waterfall tour a few days ago with Chamba (Salvador) and Kevin, and it was super fun. We jumped through several waterfalls, one of them quite high, but it always felt safe, the boys knew exactly what they were doing. Highly recommended if you are in El Tunco!

2 Great Tours with Tunco Life! - My wife and I did the Tamanique Waterfall Tour and the El Salvador City Tour with Tunco Life. Both were excellent. Matteo was our guide for both tours, and he was terrific. He picked us up on time (actually arriving a few minutes early) both days from our hotel in El Majahual. The air-conditioned vehicle was comfortable. Matteo spoke fluent English and was a wealth of information about El Salvador, and he answered all our questions. Highly recommend this tour company. As to the waterfall tour itself, the waterfall was beautiful, and, as many of these reviews mention, you can swim underneath the falls or jump into pools below. I didn't think the walk uphill was too grueling, but it is a steep and steady climb, and you need to be in relatively decent shape. My wife had a difficult time with the climb.

Waterfall hike - The tour guide was amazing! It was a very informative and fun tour. The cliff jumping was very fun as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling in El Salvador.

Taminique Falls - The tour to Tamanique was one of my favorite experiences on my vacation. The main waterfall and pool is stunning and so refreshing to swim in after the hike down. I chose not to jump in the falls, but I still had a great time. Mateo, the guide, was super cool and great to talk to about the history of El Salvador

Majestic Falls - Views are amazing. The waterfalls are breathtaking. The hike down was pretty easy because you are going down, but pretty difficult coming back up due to the rapid incline and humidity. Our guide Salva was very knowledgeable and knows the trail like it was his own backyard. He knows exactly where to step and what slippery rocks to avoid, etc. He guides you around the rocky falls individually for safety. He has a welcoming personality and spoke very good English. Recommend this hike, but you must be physically in shape to complete for the hike back up.
