Dolphins at sunrise - The trip started at sunrise to allow us to spot dolphins while they were still in Tamarin Bay - our super friendly and expert guide Yudish explained that they rest here at night before heading out to sea for the day. It’s an early start but worth it, both for the dolphins and the beautiful views as the sun came up. Being in kayaks felt much more connected to nature - to the sea and the dolphins - than the motorboats speeding across the bay. And yes, we did see a number of dolphins up pretty close - it’s not guaranteed but there never seemed any doubt that we’d spot a few! The kayaks were mainly for two and while you’ll need a slight level of fitness to paddle for two hours, it wasn’t frantic at all - Yudish’s good nature and calm demeanour set the tone for an enjoyable and chilled morning. We ended our time by paddling a little way up the river, which was a lovely relaxing way to finish the trip. Huge props to Yudish - he was always in control, knowing how to guide us towards the dolphins, and the fact he was a really nice guy added to the pleasure of the activity.

Magical and unforgettable experience - Our Yudish Guide was great!! He calmly guided us into the ocean with our kayaks and our hopes of seeing dolphins respecting nature. He taught us patience and respect for nature with calm, kindness and a smile. We saw the dolphins! Il We took picture at our request for fear of dropping our phone in the water!! He was great!

Amazing sunrise kayak - Our tour guide Fabrice was very friendly and knowledgable. He was also very transparent about the plan and how the dolphins aren’t always present and he proposed a plan if they weren’t. He clearly explained how to use the kayak and keep safe on it. My partner and I had a great time, although we didn’t get to see dolphins as they were in a different area, but instead we canoed up the river and saw some wildlife and it was very tranquil. Fabrice also took photos of us and sent them to us after which was very kind. I think my partner probably preferred looking out for the native birds than meeting dolphins. Overall it was lovely, I would absolutely recommend and I will probably do again during my stay.

Dolphin spotting in a breathtaking bay at sunrise in peace and harmony with nature - Amazing opportunity to see the sunrise over the mountains and bay. A quiet paddle out into the bay rewarded by a pod of spinner dolphins joining us. Then a leisurely guided kayak into the river for a lovely traditional breakfast of fruit, badger and pancakes (all vegetarian) with hot tea. Our guide Mel was friendly and knowledgable…well worth the early start. The facilities were also good, lifejackets, kayaks, a locked office for our things and a hot shower afterwards.

A very nice morning outing to do again without hesitation - We did the morning kayak trip with Marc. It was really great, our 4 teenagers (12 to 17 years old) really liked it. Seeing Tamarin Bay in the early morning is very beautiful. And after a few minutes of paddling (easy), seeing dolphins adds to the magic of the moment. The advantage of Yanature compared to other agencies located in the same location seems to be the price (lower) and especially the size of the group: there were only 8 of us (including 6 people for our family), or around 3 times less than the neighboring agency. This way we can better hear the advice of our guide. Marc supervised us very well and even sent us some videos and photos after the activity (much better than ours 😂). At the end of our walk, we were able to go up the Tamarin river for a few hundred meters, it was nice to see this side too. In summary, do not hesitate to contact Yanature, everything was very professional from making contact until the end of the activity. The activity is suitable for families (for younger children there is a place in the middle of the kayak), it is easy to paddle and you are almost certain to see dolphins. The gentler approach of the kayak is very different from the boat (we tested both), and it seems to me rather more suitable for children.

Disappointing - Disappointing experience: the two instructors give little/no advice, do not bring up the rear of the group, their support is really light. The equipment is correct but no water bottle or waterproof bag is provided, which is a shame. Bad value for money for this experience. Too bad because the respectful approach to nature and dolphins is positive.
