Such a fun experience! - I had such a great time on this trip! The crew was funny and attentive. The other guests were laid back and everyone had a great time. We anchored near a small beach for a while and we were all jumping in, snorkeling and swimming around. It’s rainy season, so the water is a bit cloudy with sand, but no one minded. The fruit and food offered was fresh and delicious, and there was no shortage of drinks! We were all so excited to see three humpback whales and then a gorgeous sunset. I fully recommend this trip. I went alone and met some really great people. Will definitely go again when I return to Tamarindo.

Great vibes and Beautiful Sunset - Friendly atmosphere , great mix of music and ages onboard, felt safe, ok drinks; watered down for a reason lol, and most important got to swim in the ocean and saw the Sunset on a Catamaran; Beautiful. Price compared to other companies was very reasonable; food was really good on the Catamaran.

The Best In Tamarindo - These guys are the best! Amazing Staff. Friendly, Attentive, and accommodating on all levels. Chute is the pinnacle of captains. Make this a part of your trip to Tamarindo!

Blue Dolphin - Delightful, cheerful crew! They were eager to help and happy to be around! They made the experience very fun. It was the fastest 5 hours of my life! I could have stayed at the beach double the time! We saw puffer fish, big sea slugs, anemones, and lots of other things while snorkeling. Later, we asked for a recipe for food we ate on the sail home and they cheerfully gave it to us! Such a fun day!

Sunset Cruise - The crew was nice and we all ended up having a good time. I think we were expecting a larger boat with better seating but it was ok with the 30ish people that were on the sunset cruise. I was a little concerned about getting on and off the boat as it wasn’t easy so if you are clumsy or handicap in any way be aware. A few people got close to seasick but they gave them some pills which helped. We saw whales and dolphins and the captain took time to stop and give us time to see them and take pictures. The crew made sure to check in for drink refills -pretty sure there wasn’t any alcohol in them though lol.

Cruising on a catamaran - Such a fun sail, not even the rain could spoil. The guys were very helpful, well organized and entertaining. The cooler of Blue Dolphin Cocktails were enjoyed all round. A spot of fishing, dancing, eating and swimming. Thanks to the crew for a lovely sail and sunset cruise. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great time.... - We had a great time. Only downside is the boat is very slippery and more than one person slipped on the trip.

Beautiful sunsets but more geared to younger crowd - Positives: Food was good. Crew was friendly and wanted to ensure people were having a good time. Sunset was beautiful. Better for a younger crowd. Negatives for me and my friends who are in the 55+ club: Sails were not deployed which was a big disappointment. We stopped at a beach but there was no transportation from the boat to the beach. You either had to climb down a very steep set of metal stairs between the nets, or jump off the side of the catamaran, and swim to the beach. Several people were not comfortable with doing that and stayed on the boat. Music was geared toward a younger crowd which is fine but it was played at a loud volume that made it hard to hear others talking.

Could have been better - This could have been a great experience, but the crew was disorganized and we waited around for over an hour to get loaded & underway. They booked too many people and it wasn’t easy to get around on the catamaran. The food & drinks were excellent, but the unloading in the dark in choppy water was hazardous.

Don’t do Tamarendo Blue Dolphin Excursion - Took this afternoon tour - 5 1/2 hours. 2 hours extremely choppy trip on relatively small cramped (too many people) catamaran to a very, very small oil streaked beach. Had to swim hundred yards plus to shore in rough water and few life jackets — only noodles. No snorkling. Water dirty and cannot see 1 foot in front of you. No snorkling equipment. When back on boat, exhausted. Had a light meal of warm watermelon and pineapple and get this, one service of rice and chicken. Said no seconds. Foot was warm at best and wraps were cold. Then headed back, a bit easier than going but still uncomfortable as no place to sit as boat overcrowded. Then got on smaller boat to take you to shore. Rickety ladder and really difficult to board and inboard. Got soakened wet as waves swamped small boat. And of course the crew wanted tips. And solicited tips. When got to shore said would write a review to share with other potential boaters. Run Forest Run!
