Tamarindo ATV Beach hop private tour - Our guide picked us up then took us to get the ATVs and ride through the province on dirt roads to 3 different beaches and through the forest and some local residential areas. It was a great experience overall. We had fun on the ATVs and seeing the different beaches was so beautiful. We can’t wait to go back!

Amazing experience - The staff was very friendly, helpful, and let us take our time to explore and enjoy the water at the beaches we stopped at. We got Casco and Javier as our tour guides and we couldn’t be happier! They spotted out various animals and identified them to us. Made sure we were having a great time and were safe. Worth every penny!

Pirates Beach - Nice shuttle driver picked us up in time and we laughed the whole drive. Easy checkin and nice ride. It is dusty, but they give you goggles. We only went to two beaches because the sun was setting and we liked the second stop at pirates beach.

ATV fun - We had a great afternoon on our ATV tour - memorable, adventurous and fun! The route was a perfect way to see the mountains, small towns, remote beaches and countryside. It's the best way to get on the backroads of Costa Rica. Be prepared to get really dusty - I would recommend bringing a bandana. The guides did an excellent job keeping out group safe and together but they seemed a bit overwhelmed as our group had 25 people in it of varying driving abilities. When I booked the tour they promised me there would be a maximum of 15 people so we were a little disappointed. It would have been better for them to break the group into two smaller groups. Our family recommends this adventure for sure!

Frankly I was... - Frankly I was disappointed as I didn't think it fit the way it was advertised. I was hoping to see some monkeys and wild life. We saw almost no wild life. We drove about 20 miles of rough gravel roads and saw 3 beaches. Not much I couldn't have done at home.

Bull Riding on an ATV - Boolked this for a Sunday, and for some reason I was the only one on the tour. Which was good for me! Roberto was the guide and he was excellent. I had fun "bull riding"on the bumpy roads. The advertising photo is misleading, however, because it shows ATVs on a beach. You cannot ride them on beaches in Costa Rica, because turtles rule! The directions to get to the meeting point were unclear and linkup didn't go as smoothly as it should have. Plus, tour was supposed to include pickup at hotel, but I stayed at JW Marriott and it is isolated from Tamarindo..

You are not going to ride an ATV on the beach. - NOTICE: The picture on the website and the description are misleading. You are not going to ATV on a beach. You are going to take a dusty road to three beaches that you can drive to in your car. You are going to be hit up to buy drinks and food at the first two stops. On the positive side, the staff were very nice and the ATVs are new and well maintained.

Not as advertised - This trip was not as advertised. We never left the dusty back roads on the ATV. The beaches while secluded, were full of people and there was no way to ride the ATV on the beach. On the Native Way website this tour is advertised as "3 Hour ATV Secluded Beach & Snorkel Tour". There was no snorkeling offered, and cold water was the only beverage. To top it all off we waited about 45 min for the equipment to come back from a morning excursion in order to complete the equipment needs of our group. All and all we would not recommend this trip.
