Playa Zapotillal - Following a convenient pick-up from your hotel, we’ll begin at the 506 Transfers & Tours office with an overview of the tour and a chance to address any questions to ensure an enjoyable experience. Before embarking on the tour, we’ll take you for a practice run to get acquainted with the vehicle and the landscape. After you’ve completed your training and feel comfortable, the adventure begins.
We’ll ride the ATVs to two stunning beaches, offering you the choice to either take a swim or pause for a photo opportunity.

Watch a beautiful sunset and discover secluded beaches surrounding Tamarindo/Flamingo on an off-roading adventure that takes you off the main road through mountains and rivers to explore parts of the region that are only accessible by all-terrain-vehicles. Independent travelers can choose their own ATV and experience the excitement of driving, while couples or families with kids can choose a double ATV (driver + passenger).
Important: If you are an adult and want to go as a passenger on a Double ATV, select option KID. Minimum for a Tour to run is 2 ATVs.

Absolutely the best! - Very highly recommended!!! One of the best things we have done on this vacation! The guides Hilmar and Eligio were the best!! The equipment was top notch and the views are spectacular! We would do this again in a heartbeat.

Buggy Tour - We took the buggy tour with 506, and it was amazing! Alonso, our guide was awesome! He took great care of us, and showed us so many cool creatures! We saw howler monkeys, sea urchins, sea slugs, hermit crabs and so much more. He took the time to educate and teach our young kids all about the wildlife in Costa Rica! I would highly recommend taking a tour with this company, and ask for Alonso!!

Pick up was prompt and we had a great time. Beaches were beautiful and we had time to swim. Roberto was very friendly. - Enjoyed our tour! Glad we went and were able to explore Costa Rica in a different way. Everyone was friendly and we really enjoyed the fresh fruit they provided at the end.

ATV Rides - Alonso and Christopher gave us an amazing tour!!!! Everything was amazing from the moment we got there to the end. The beaches were beautiful and the pineapple that they gave us at the end were extremely refreshing. 10 out of 10 experience!!

High Quality vehicles with beautiful coast - A private tour with our guide Juan was great. We stopped at a few different local spots to have some refreshing coconut drinks, ceviche, and other choices that were available. Beautiful coasts for nice pictures with life in the waters including Starfish, Sea Urchins that definitely requires and expert to catch and proceed with caution but great to see.
Vehicles are all in like-new condition. We've done these buggys and ATV in the Mexico and Caribbean before but this was safer, high quality, and a great destination.

Roberto was an excellent tour guide. - We had a great time. Our tour guide Roberto was fantastic. He took us to numerous beaches and we viewed several different animals. A must in do in Tamarindo.

Off the beaten path - It was interesting to see other towns outside of the resort. We also had an opportunity to travel to more secluded beaches and swim in Puerto, Viejo Beach, which was glorious!
Our guide, Elijah was excellent. I would recommend this, and I would do it again.
