Best Teacher Ever ! - The best surfing teacher ever! They really did a great job teaching us proper safety and technique before getting in the ocean. He really allowed us to feel comfortable in the learning process which I think is super important. My husband and I got up on our second attempt. Highly recommend!

Caught my first wave at 50! Thanks to Rafael - Had a Great time! Rafael was an excellent instructor. He stayed with me in the water and guided me when to stand on my board at the perfect time. I caught my first wave at 50! 🏄‍♀️👍

First time Surfing - Gino is an EXCELLENT Teacher - First time I've surfed in my life, and thanks to Gino's instruction, I got on the surf board 4 x's!! He teaches you great technique, hes super patient and very very nice!! I was scared at first, but he walks you through step by step. He made my first surf experience an EXcellent one!! I look fw to doing it again!! Please do this and make sure you ask for Gino! He's excellent

Four surfing novices all stood up! - We had both David and Joshua and they were fantastic! Very patient with me and the kids and had us all standing up within our first few tries. I spent most of the time with David, so I can really only comment on him, but he was very friendly and helpful and gave great surfing advice to a complete novice. We liked them both so much that we went back for a second season a few days later. Highly recommend!

Awesome experience - We took surfing lessons from Carlos and what a great instructor! Lessons started on the beach, then we made our way out to the ocean. He stayed with us in the ocean giving us instructions on how to improve. They have a photographer on shore and he took some great photos of our experience.

Highly Recommend! - A few friends and I signed up for a surf school with Neptuno while in Tamarindo and had the most amazing experience! They were extremely helpful and made sure that we all felt comfortable and had a fun time. We highly recommend taking surf lessons with Neptuno as they provided a wonderful experience that we will never forget.

Great Surf Instructors! - Had a blast learning surf lessons for the first time. Manuel is the perfect instructor - I came back a few days later for a second session. Highly recommend!

Great surf lesson from Michelle - We had a great day getting a surf lesson for two kids from Michelle and interacting with the shop owner Rafael. Nice people, great little shop that is right across from the beach. It is down season, so their deli was closed but we hung out all day at the cafe across the street and went in and out of the water. There were also people set up across the street to give massages. Recommend it highly.

Ehh... - Ibi (the girl manning the shop) was awesome. Selection of apparel is limited if you want a souvenir from this place. We also took couple’s surf lessons through this shop and were unfortunately less than thrilled. The photos that Ibi took were great, but the instructor kept getting frustrated with me because I didn’t know how to “steer” the board during the lesson (I don’t know how to surf — that’s why I’m taking the lesson!!!) and we ended the lesson early because of it. He kept sighing, acting all exasperated, and spoke to me in an abrasive and scolding tone. Uhhhh, don’t accept newbie lessons if you don’t want to teach newbies dude!!! You might be better off going somewhere else to learn. Ibi is this place’s only saving grace!!!
