Rained a ton but still fun - Alejandro was an excellent source of information about the forest. We saw several animals which was fun. The hot springs was a nice way to end the day.

Super fun and very knowledgeable - We had a great tour with ALEJANDRO at the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Tour. We had so much fun learning so much about all useful purposes the different trees have, and about the different animals and their functions. Because of ALEJANDRO I now appreciate nature and animals much more. ALEJANDRO also explained how volcanos were formed and showed pictures that helped us understand better volcanic formations and how Costa Rica is utilizing them for renewable energy. This increased my interest in learning more about Volcano's. This was a great tour! The hot springs were also great. The best one was the 103 F hot spring. So hot!. The waterfall was very refreshing. I am looking forward for another tour with ALEJANDRO the next time I come to Costa Rica.

Go for the hot springs alone - Not going to lie, I booked this on a whim. No clue what I was signing up for but I’m so glad I did it. The water fall and hot springs were my favorite parts. I would go back on my own to both. I could spend all day in the hot spring. The hike was also a lot of fun. It was very easy and we saw a lot of cool plants and trees. I highly highly recommend it, not too long of a day either!

Amazing full day trip - Amazing day trip! Brandon (the driver) arrived on time for pickup. Our guide Alejandro was very informative and shared a lot of history about CR on the drive. He was also friendly and open to questions. Had a great hike! The path was easy to walk but there are a lot of stairs so bring good shoes ( runners are fine and don’t need hiking boots). The Oropendola waterfall is a must see and the water was a beautiful turquoise. The lunch was excellent as were the hot springs. It’s a full day so bring your energy but well worth the time. Thank you Alejandro!

Fun tour - This was AMAZING ! Alejandro and mambo made the experience so so much better. Only thing I could complain about is the name , it’s more of a walk/trail than a Hike but it was still amazing , fun and beautiful experience. Will do it again ! The waterfall was the best !

Good experience with beautiful views - The hike was pretty easy for a group of 20-something’s. We wore chacos with no trouble. Waterfall was beautiful and the hot springs were great to experience at the end of the day. The mud bath is actually a mud bowl and you just rub the mud on you then jump in the river to wash it off. Restaurant/food (included) was delicious, but at the end of the day- so we were all pretty hungry by that time. I’d definitely recommend packing a sandwich/light snack. After the hike, you do stop a snack shop but it’s mostly just chips and drinks. Bring extra money for snacks and tipping! We saw monkeys, a snake, turkeys, tons of butterflies and birds, and even a baby viper. Views were amazing!

Hiking with an ending of relaxation - My family really enjoyed this activity. We got to do alot in this one excursion. The timing for each stopping point was just enough. We spotted a few monkeys in the trees, the volcano hike was at a great pace for our large group of 15. The waterfall was beautiful, but very cold water to swim; however, most of us still got in. The mudbath was a nice experience and the hotsprings gave a relaxing touch to end the full day excursion. Our tour guide Necol did a good job of keeping our group on track. Would highly recommend this activity.

Long day - Tour guide was great (Kevin) Day was long! Mud bath is taking a cup of mud and rubbing it over body (not actually mud bath) If you’re up for a long day of walking and seeing nature, I recommend.
