Great Day - Was a full day of good adventure. We saw a slew of spider monkeys, making the hike doubly exciting. The breakfast and lunch was good. Enjoyed the waterfall and the hot springs/mud bath were super cool too.

Full day tour of volcano area including jungle , mud pots and hot pools - Fantastic tour of the jungle with great insights on plants animals and the hot springs and mud pools. The hike was great and Diego was an awesome guide telling us all about everything we were seeing and experiencing. Hot pools were well. Hot. And a nice cool dip in the river. The falls were beautiful and water crystal clear and a nice break from the heat We had lunch in a local buffet which was a great way to end the day before heading home.

The Rincone Experience - This is a tremendous experience, one that anyone visiting Tamarindo should book. Diego was our personal nature guide and took the time to show us this amazing national forest and all it had to offer. He was knowledgeable about the local birds and fauna. He is also a professional photographer who was able to capture the birds and animals not easily visible, for the group to see. I highly recommend immersing yourself in the waterfall and hot springs. Both are welcomed after a long morning hike. Have fun and enjoy. Pura Vida!

Our guide was good! I... - Our guide was good! I would have liked more time in the waterfalls and hot springs and less time with the volcano and trail walk.

2 Plus one minus. - We have been to many volcanoes and this was more a walk to funerals and mud pots. Not a volcano. A little disappointing. The waterfall was spectacular and the hot pools were spectacular but the volcano was a little bit under expectation. The walk was nice and the guide was very good.

Great Day - Great experience. I’m not a hiker but was able to do without issue. Saw spider monkeys, hummingbirds, a tiny deadly viper and black iguana. The trees are massive, the river and rocks beautiful. Swimming in the waterfall was incredible and after the long hike, the cold water was refreshing. Lunch was very good. Hot springs was crowded but it did not hamper the experience. The mud application was fun as we friends painted each other’s faces. The springs are very warm. All over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Bring water shoes for the swims because of the rocks and towel for after waterfall and a coverup for lunch since you’ll be in your bathing suit still from waterfall swim.

Stunning hike to waterfalls, largest & most active volcano, mud bath+hot springs - Just go and appreciate what the national park has to offer. An amazing experience to see volcanic activity, watch spider and capuchin monkeys going about their business -- very entertaining --; dip in the cold water of Oropendola waterfalls, revel in the beauty of Rio Negro hot springs & volcanic mud bath. Finally, enjoy the company of tour guide, Don Alejandro, as well as meet fellow adventurers.

Hot & Cold - Alejandro did a fantastic job in keeping us engaged and was a wealth of knowledge as he guided us through. We were able to see Spider Monkeys and a few varying snakes, as well as enjoyed seeing the hot pots. The plunge into the waterfall was cold and refreshing. The buffet lunch had a good variety and enjoyed the hot springs to end the day. Long trip back due the traffic, but that was not their fault. Overall, a very pleasurable tour.

Poor Guide - The tour guide can make or break a tour. On a tour I appreciate information and our guide did not give us information unless we asked him.
