Perfect for Beginners - I had never surfed before and stood up multiple times. They give easy to follow instructions and I would recommend any beginner to come here and try the waves.

An unforgettable surf experience! - My recent trip to Costa Rica was made even more special by the incredible surf lesson I took in Tamarindo. As someone who had never surfed before, I was a bit apprehensive, but the instructors were fantastic. They were patient, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable from the start. The lesson began with a brief introduction to surfing basics on the beach. We learned about the equipment, how to paddle, pop-up, and balance on the board. Then, it was time to hit the waves! The instructors were right there with us, providing guidance and encouragement every step of the way. I was surprised at how quickly I was able to stand up and ride a wave. It was an exhilarating feeling! The instructors were great at choosing the right waves for our skill level, ensuring we had a safe and enjoyable experience.

Amazing family experience - Awesome experience. Team was very friendly and explained things thoroughly before heading out. Spent a lot of time in the water, almost 1.5hrs of surf time. We both stood up - using soft boards to beginners. They we especially caring for my daughter it was her first time swimming and were constantly checking in with her and I to make sure we were comfortable with progressing further into the water. Would definitely recommend for beginners!

Best Surf Lessons in Tamarindo! - La Muda did a great job with our kids! All 3 got up and loved surfing! They spent the time teaching the proper technique to make sure they all had the tools to actually perform. I was so happy. My daughter is very timid and the team did a great job of making her feel safe and cheering her on! I highly recommend LA Muda to anyone that wants to try and surf in Tamarindo!

Loved our day with muda surf - Our group of 12 had the best time. All were first time surfers and all stood up. Isabella and her team were great communicating leading up to date and made it a blast.

Excellent surf lesson in Tamarindo - Our 4 kids in their 20’s did this tour and really liked it. Only one had done any surfing previously. The instructor was very good, and they were amazed at how quickly they could get on the board and actually surf Office staff was very communicative and flexible.

Great time! - Great views and an arm workout! Bring water shoes or your tennis shoes will get wet. Friendly staff, clean restrooms, prompt pick up and drop off. They take you to very nice beaches. We didn’t get to see any monkeys unfortunately but still a great time!

First Time Surfing - The entire experience was incredible. It was my first time surfing so I was a little worried but the instructors made me feel safe and eased my nerves. I had a blast and everyone was so kind and welcoming. 10/10 recommend!
