Wonderful time - The shark presentation and the anemone exhibit. I have to commend one of your staff, Micah. She is knowledgeable, patient and takes her time to explain.

The Tampa Aquarium - The fish aquarium where all the fish, large and small, interacted together. It was a great time enjoying all of the different species.

Best Aquarium We've Been to - We were initially a little tired of aquariums since we'd been to so many, but so far the Florida Aquarium is our favorite! It has a large amount of touch tanks, some truly impressively massive reef tanks, three rescue sea turtles, and an aviary showing different waterfowl in Florida. The food court is also really good. There's options to go out to the broader bay directly from the aquarium to see larger marine mammals as well as an outdoor water playground for smaller children. This is definitely among the more unique aquarium experiences we had and I loved the focus on local wildlife! Lots of interactive screens and education and well worth a visit for anyone in Tampa. For added ease, the free streetcar stop is right by the aquarium entrance.

Tampa Aquarium - This is a must do especially for families with young children. Very family friendly, clean and educational. Displays are easy for everyone to see and information about the displays are close and easy to read

Good, but first impressions not so much. - Just beware if you are buying with a card you have to use the website on your phone even if you are standing right there. Kind of annoying when the cell service was spotty at best and they aren’t that busy. Other than that the aquarium is good for kids. Lots of things to touch and interact with. So many sea creatures to look at and learn about.

Shocked: cramped conditions for some animals - This was not what we expected. It was shocking to see how small some of the tanks were especial housing the otters and some of the larger fish. This is supposed to be one of the best aquariums in the world supporting conservation. I came away feeling saddened.
