Cute little zoo - Very nice little zoo, lots of animals, some of the areas are a bit confusing to get too like the stingrays

Love this zoo - I have been going to this zoo for years and can not say enough great thing about it!! Ten years ago my 5 yr old grandson got seperated from us....biggest scare of my life! The staff was quick with their response and once he was located, multiple staff surrounded him to protect him until they got to me. More current, a day at the zoo is so pleasant! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The animals areas are clean and maintained. There are plenty of benches to rest or just watch the animals. All the rides are included in the ticket price!! What a great deal! If I lived closer I would be a volunteer for sure!! There is always something new to see that you may have never noticed before. I just love this zoo!!!

One of the best zoo’s I’ve been to - This zoo has so much to offer! I could easily stay here all day. They have plenty of events for people to take part in, including the macaw flyover, stingray exhibit, feeding the birds, and the safari ride. The food is also pretty good and they have plenty of drink stations.

Always always something new to see - Me encanto mi visita. The kids were able to make great use of the splash pad and cool off. I love that they keep their exhibits fresh year-round

Nice place to visit. - We never thought we would see a koala bear in real life and they have 2. They were in separate rooms which I was wondering why but maybe just don’t get along. The tiger was pacing so that was little disturbing. Fun time.

So much to see/ includes attractions - We really enjoyed our time at the zoo. The exhibits were well maintained, the animals were a sight to see and we even did a few rides. They built the new section for Australia which also included a covered playground area and a splash pad. If we brought suits we could have made a whole day out of our visit. The only thing I was disappointed in was the cost of the photos being that they weren’t real and it was all green screen. I asked if they take photos for behind the scenes and animal encounters and they confirmed yes. So, we decided to skips the cheesy photo for $30 and go back to experience all animal encounters and behind the scenes then choose one of those photos as our memory at the zoo with the real animals. We had a great time and we look forward to returning again!

Good place to go. I would recommend to anyone who wants to see Manatees. - I love the work you do with the Manatees. I could have spent all day watching the orangutans Manatees and pelicans. Really impressed by the zoo. Good gift shop as well.

Not worth the time or money - Not worth the cost or the time. About 20% of the exhibits were closed or without animals including the new manatee exhibit. On a 95 degree day, the splash bad was down for maintenance and the worker said it was down for some time. Very few water fountains and the ones that we found had only warm water. 2 of the 8 cars on the roller coaster were broke which made the wait almost 30 minutes. I should have listened to previous reviews and avoided this poorly run attraction.

Overall, disappointing… - It was disappointing. Many, many of the animal exhibits were empty the day we went (signs posted that they were out of habitat); most concessions closed. Was there when they opened at 9:30. For adults, was not worth the price. For families? Probably enjoyable when the weather is warm and the kids can enjoy the water features to cool off and the kiddie rides. The children share seemed to be having a good time. For adults without enjoying the wonder and play of children (which is a magnificent thing to behold), not so much. The Siamang primates put on a great show. Some animals without companions on their enclosures. No enrichment so seemingly a poor quality of life. Love the work they do with manatees. I see manatee frequently where I live and the work they do here to support the injured is amazing.
