We then begin our ascent up the mountain towards Tinirte, where a local Berber family will welcome you into their home for a break with refreshing mint tea. We then begin our ascent up the mountain towards Tinirte, where a local Berber family will welcome you into their home for a break with refreshing mint tea. Our next stop is the local fields, where we’ll witness the area’s traditional irrigation techniques. A distinguished individual from the area is notable for initiating banana cultivation in Tamri and throughout Morocco. Our hike proceeds through these fields, where local Berber residents can be seen tending to small plots of land growing olives, pomegranates and bananas.
We then head to the hidden paradise valley, where you’ll have some free time to explore before we make our way to another local Berber home for an authentic lunch.
